TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco Historique

TAG Heuer ha voluto realizzare uno speciale cronografo “Monaco” in edizione limitata, dedicato al “Grand Prix de Monaco Historique”. Un orologio straordinariamente elegante e carismatico che vuole rendere omaggio a questa iconica gara. Le tonalità del rosso e del bianco richiamano i colori delle più accattivanti auto sportive del mondo che hanno sfrecciato sul prestigioso circuito monegasco. Ne verranno realizzati solamente 1.000 esemplari, su ognuno dei quali verrà inciso il numero progressivo e le parole “One of 1000”. Questo orologio da polso ha una cassa quadrata in acciaio inox, un vetro zaffiro trasparente, il logo “Monaco Grand Prix Historique” stampato sul retro e un lussuoso cinturino perforato in pelle nera a grana fine. Sarà racchiuso in una scatola rossa decorata con una bandiera da corsa, un richiamo alla storica scatola di orologi TAG Heuer. Sarà presentato ufficialmente il il 27 luglio, ma potrà già essere acquistato presso la sede dell’ACM, sul sito ufficiale www.tagheuer.com e nelle boutique TAG Heuer.

L’idea è nata quando TAG Heuer è stato nominato Sponsor ufficiale della gara e Official Watch Partner del Museo Top Cars Collection. La dodicesima edizione dell’evento era stata programmata dall’8 al 10 maggio 2020, ma a causa dell’emergenza COVID-19 è stata rimandata. Il team dell’Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) sta lavorando al prossimo weekend biennale che rappresenta uno dei momenti salienti del calendario delle corse di auto d’epoca. Amato dagli appassionati, dai proprietari, dai piloti e dagli spettatori che possono assaporare uno spettacolo unico che fa rivivere l’atmosfera dei Gran Premi del passato.

Il legame che unisce TAG Heuer e il Principato risale agli anni ’50 quando Jack Heuer, seguendo la sua passione per il motorsport, studiò cronometri e cronografi adatti al mondo delle corse. Per celebrare l’indiscusso glamour del Gran Premio di Formula 1, decise, nel 1969, di chiamare “Monaco” una delle sue collezioni più iconiche.

TAG Heuer has wanted to create a special limited edition “Monaco” chronograph, dedicated to the “Grand Prix de Monaco Historique”. An extraordinarily elegant and charismatic timepiece that wants to pay homage to this iconic race. The shades of red and white recall the colours of the most eye-catching sports cars in the world that have dashed through the prestigious Monegasque circuit. Only 1,000 pieces will be made, each of which will be engraved its progressive number and the words “One of 1000”. This wristwatch has a square stainless steel case, a transparent sapphire glass, the “Monaco Grand Prix Historique” logo, printed on the back, and a luxurious perforated black leather fine-grained strap. It will be enclosed in a red box decorated with a racing flag, a reference to the historic TAG Heuer watch box. It will be officially unveiled on the  27t of July 2020, but it it is already available at the ACM headquarters, on the official website www.tagheuer.com  and in the TAG Heuer boutiques. The idea was born when TAG Heuer became the official sponsor of the race and the Official Watch Partner of the Monaco Top Cars Collection museum. The twelfth edition of the event had been scheduled from the 8th to the 10th of May 2020, but due to the COVID-19 emergency it was postponed. The team at the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) is working on the next biennial weekend, which is one of the highlights of the classic car racing calendar. Loved by fans, owners, drivers and spectators who can enjoy a unique spectacle that revives the atmosphere of the Grand Prix of the past. The link between TAG Heuer and the Principality dates back to the 1950s when Jack Heuer, following his passion for motorsport, studied timers and chronographs suitable for racing. To celebrate the undisputed glamour of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, he decided, in 1969, to call “Monaco” one of his most iconic collections.
