The Ice 2024 special edition

L’edizione di quest’anno dello splendido concorso d’eleganza sul lago ghiacciato più esclusivo al mondo è stata cancellato a causa di una delle nevicate più copiose degli ultimi anni. La bellissima località dell’Engadina è stata ammantata da uno spesso strato di coltre bianca che ha reso magico il paesaggio, ma impossibile il regolare svolgimento dell’evento tanto atteso. Si è però in parte svolto il Concorso d’Eleganza e le auto partecipanti sono stata esposte al parcheggio Serletta per la gioia degli appassionati giunti da ogni parte del mondo. Tra le vincitrici sono state: la Talbot Lago T26 GS del 1950 premiata come “Barchettas on the Lake”; come Concept Cars & One Offs la Aston Martin Bulldog del 1979; come Racing Legends la Ferrari 275 P del 1963; come “Open Wheels” la Cooper Maserati T81 del 1962

Richard Mille si è riconfermato “Title Sponsor”, quest’anno affiancato da Loro Piana, UBS, VistaJet, official aviation partner di The I.C.E. 2024, Riva, che reinterpreta in maniera unconventional il suo habitat naturale, Poltrona Frau che avrebbe arricchito l’evento con un progetto di allestimento elegante e sofisticato, in partnership con la casa d’aste RM Sotheby’s, Moët&Chandon, Donnafugata, The Little Car Company, GoodWool, Blasto, Gufram, Meyers Manx, Bang&Olufsen, Roarington, Alcantara, Vincenzo Dascanio e naturalmente la Città di St. Moritz insieme all’iconico Badrutt’s Palace.

The edition of the world’s most exclusive frozen lake concours d’elegance has been cancelled due to one of the heaviest snowfalls in recent years. The beautiful Engadine town was cloaked in a thick layer of white blanket that made the landscape magical, but impossible for the long-awaited event to run smoothly. However, part of the Concours d’Elegance took place and the participating cars were exhibited at the Serletta car park to the delight of enthusiasts from all over the world. Among the winners were: the 1950 Talbot Lago T26 GS awarded as “Barchettas on the Lake”; as Concept Cars & One Offs, the 1979 Aston Martin Bulldog; as Racing Legends the 1963 Ferrari 275 P; as “Open Wheels” the 1962 Cooper Maserati T81.
