“Mooring by the Moon” by Azimut

In occasione della Milano Design Week 2024, nella suggestiva cornice dei Bagni Misteriosi, Azimut ci regala un’esperienza immersiva alla scoperta delle meraviglie della natura. Veniamo accolti su di una terrazza affacciata sul mare all’ora del tramonto, poi a poco a poco si fa notte e veniamo illuminati dalla luce di una grande luna che splende accanto a un milione di stelle.

Quando si fa di nuovo giorno, l’alba di una nuova era gentile, scopriamo le molteplici vite della materia: la rigenerazione delle reti da pesca dismesse che vengono trasformate in tessuto; le 15.000 bottiglie in plastica e il carbonio che costituiscono l’anima del Seadeck 6; il sughero con il quale viene rivestito il pavimento, antico e mediterraneo, capace di rigenerarsi spontaneamente. Un’attenzione amorevole alla natura così preziosa e così fragile.

Poi, adagiato sulle azzurre acque e illuminato della luna, ecco il bellissimo Seadeck 6, emblema dell’impegno al rispetto per il mondo che ci circonda. Le sue linee sono state disegnate da Alberto Mancini e i suoi interni pensati da Matteo Thun e Antonio Rodriguez. Con la riduzione delle emissioni di CO2 fino al 40% in un anno rappresenta la prima Serie Low Emission al mondo.

Azimut gives us an immersive experience to discover the wonders of nature on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, in the evocative setting of the Mysterious Baths. We are welcomed on a terrace overlooking the sea at sunset, then night falls slowly and we are illuminated by the light of a big moon shining next to a million stars. When the day comes again, the start of a new gentle age, we discover the multiple lives of matter: the regeneration of discarded fishing nets that are transformed into fabric; the 15,000 plastic and carbon bottles that make up the soul of Seadeck 6; the cork with which the floor is covered, ancient and Mediterranean, capable of regenerating spontaneously. A loving attention to nature so precious and so fragile. Then, lying on the blue waters and illuminated by the moon, there is the beautiful Seadeck 6, emblem of the commitment to respect for the world around us. Its lines were designed by Alberto Mancini and its interiors designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez. It is the first Low Emission Series in the world with CO2 emissions reduced by up to 40% in one year. The extraordinary installation was curated by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi.
