Tiffany Via Montenapoleone Milano

19 Maggio, 2025 Published in Jewellery

They arranged for me to take a private tour of the beautiful new Tiffany & Co. store on Via Monte Napoleone in Milan. It is located in the historic Palazzo Taverna, dating back to 835, the result of Italian excellence, some examples? The arched windows were made by the Venini glassworks in Murano, the original design of the lunettes was by Gio Ponti. Upon crossing the threshold, I was immediately enveloped by the elegant and unmistakable atmosphere of the Maison and the feeling was to be in the iconic flagship store on Fifth Avenue. First I was offered a coffee with the Maison’s logo and two delicious sweets, like immediately feeling like Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, a pampering reserved only for customers. Every detail is in harmony and designed to create a refined and exclusive environment; There is the Gold Room, the Silver Room and the Mother-of-Pearl Room. A room is a tribute to the Great Central Station with the reproduction of the famous clock.  Alongside the new creations, you can admire unique pieces from the Tiffany Archives. Among the goodies is the watch given to the captain of the ship Carpathia by some women who survived the sinking of the Titanic; some original pieces designed by Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso. On the walls you can discover works of art by illustrious artists such as Pablo Picasso and Michelangelo Pistoletto. In the private suite you can admire Tiffanies & Tiffany, an extraordinary work commissioned from Urs Fischer that tells the story of the relationship between women and the creativity of High Jewelry.
