“The Magnificent Ephemeral In Praise of Dream, Folly and Sin”

Come per incanto siamo giunti all’appuntamento che ci regalerà un attimo per gustare la magnificenza dell’effimero, l’elogio del sogno, il fascino della follia e del peccato. Il Ballo del Doge non è semplicemente un evento, ma la materializzazione dei nostri sogni che per magia si realizzeranno, durando il tempo di una notte. Perché le cose più belle e agognate sono quelle fugaci che durano un lasso di tempo breve, ma lasciano un ricordo indelebile nella nostra memoria e nel nostro cuore. Ci sono momenti in cui possiamo concederci il lusso di lasciarci conquistare dalle cose frivole, quelle cose che ci fanno sentire vivi, appagano il nostro bisogno di bellezza e ci permettono di dedicarci alle nostre passioni. Il creare, godere e ricordare la bellezza ci dona un certo senso d’eternità.

Il ballo del Doge del 2019 sarà quindi una sublimazione del peccato, quei piccoli peccati veniali che ci concediamo per assaporare un pò di leggerezza; della follia, perché cos’è la vita senza un pizzico di essa? Del sogno, è attraverso di esso che riusciamo ad essere.

Ad accompagnare gli ospiti in quest’esperienza straordinaria ci saranno le delizie culinarie dello chef stellato Luca Marchini del Ristorante L’Erba del Re di Modena che inebrierà i palati con piatti che racconteranno gli splendori di Venezia; le pregiate e raffinate bollicine della Maison Vranken-Pommery. Quest’anno la Maison, per questa speciale l’occasione, presenterà il nuovissimo Apanage Blanc de Blancs, un vino dai colori bianco e oro che incarna la purezza. Tre barman di fama nazionale prepareranno favolosi cocktail (Giorgio Fadda, Marino Lucchetti e Enrico Fuga).

As by magic, the appointment that will give us a moment to enjoy the magnificence of the ephemeral, the praise of the dream, the charm of the folly and sin is coming. The Ballo del Doge is not just an event, but the materialization of our dreams, just for one night. Because the most beautiful and coveted things are those that last only a short period of time, but leave a lasting impression in our minds and in our hearts. There are times when we can give us the luxury to be captivated by frivolous things, those things that make us feel alive, that satisfy our need of beauty and allow us to dedicate ourselves to our passions. The create, enjoy and remember the beauty gives us a sense of eternity. The Ballo del Doge 2019 will be a sublimation of sin, those little venial sins that we allow ourselves to experience a bit of lightness; the madness, because what is life without a hint of it; the dream, it is through it that we can be. To accompany the guests in this amazing experience there will be the star chef Luca Marchini of the Restaurant “L’Erba del Re di Modena”, which will delight the palate with dishes that will tell the splendors of Venice; the precious and elegant bubbles of Maison Vranken-Pommery.
