Uno splendido sole ha baciato la prima giornata di The Ice. Il concorso di eleganza più atteso della stagione invernale, nelle giornate del 21 e 22 febbraio, ha radunato straordinarie vetture classiche nella suggestiva cornice del più famoso lago ghiacciato dell’Engadina. Due giorni all’insegna dello stile, dell’amore per il bello e dell’eleganza. Nella prima giornata le vetture sono state protagoniste dell’esposizione statica e sono stati svelati i modelli esclusivi di Pagani e Maserati.
Un giuria ha valutato le automobili in gara, alcune tra le più significative interpreti della storia dell’automobilismo mondiale, e infine sono state annunciate le Best in Class. Le regine delle 5 categorie in concorso sono state: Barchettas on the Lake: la Ferrari 500 TRC Scaglietti del 1957; Open Wheels: la numero 41, la Bugatti 59 (1934); Concept Cars & One Offs: la numero 51, l’Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS aprile (1931); Icons on Wheels: con il numero 91, la Ferrari 275 GTB/4 (1966); Racing Legends: la numero 29, la Porsche 908/03 (1971).

A splendid sun kissed the first day of The Ice. The most eagerly awaited Concours d’Elegance of the winter season, on 21 and 22 February, brought together extraordinary classic cars in the evocative setting of the most famous frozen lake in the Engadine. Two days of style, love for beauty and elegance. On the first day, the cars were the protagonists of the static exhibition and the exclusive models of Pagani and Maserati were unveiled. A jury evaluated the cars in the race, some of the most significant interpreters in the history of world motoring, and finally the Best in Class were announced.
