Suite Eleonora Duse

Come molti di voi ormai sapranno, ho un debole per gli hotel nei quali si respira la storia e nei quali posso immaginare di vedere camminare i personaggi illustri del passato, ovviamente senza rinunciare ai più moderni confort. Per me ha un fascino speciale dormire in una suite nella quale la grande Eleonora Duse soggiornò molti anni or sono, guardare ill mare dalla stessa finestra, sorseggiare un calice di vino, magari come anch’ella fece. La suite “Duse” unisce una raffinata eleganza d’altri tempi con il confort contemporaneo; gli interni preziosi hanno toni caldi e tessuti pregiati e il bagno è finemente decorate con marmi di Carrara nei toni del bianco e grigio.

As many of you know, I have love so much the hotels where breathe history and where I can imagine seeing the famous people of the past walk, obviously without giving up the most modern comforts. For me it has a special charm to sleep in a suite where Eleonora Duse stayed many years ago, looking at the sea from the same window, sipping a glass of wine, maybe as she did. The “Duse” suite combines refined elegance of yesteryear with contemporary comfort; the precious interiors have warm tones and precious fabrics and the bathroom is finely decorated with Carrara marbles in shades of white and gray.
