RM Sotheby’s Auction at Monaco

RM Sotheby’s ha portato nel Principato, in occasione del Grand Prix Historique, fantastici gioielli su quattro ruote, auto che hanno fatto palpitare i cuori dei collezionisti e non solo i loro. Ammirare da vicino queste fantastiche automobili è stato emozionante, se ne sono potuti apprezzare i singoli dettagli e il loro perfetto stato conservativo.

Quest’asta ha dato l’incredibile opportunità di acquistare due auto di Formula Uno originali appartenenti alla collezione privata dell’ex campione del mondo Nigel Mansell. L’iconica Williams FW14 del 1991 “Senna Taxi” è stata la star indiscussa e battuta per € 4.055.000 dopo un’accesa battaglia di offerte; la Ferrari 640 del 1989 di Nigel Mansell ha raggiunto la cifra di € 3.605.000.

Tra le supercar stradali molto contesa la splendida Ferrari 365 GTS / 4 Daytona Spider del 1973 di Scaglietti, Giallo Fly over con abbinamento in Pelle Nera Vaumol, venduta per € 2.592.500. Presente una Lamborghini Miura SV del 1971 molto speciale arricchita da un motore originale “sperimentale” e sapientemente restaurata, venduta per € 2.480.000; una Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight del 1973, uno dei soli 200 esemplari prodotti nel 1973 in configurazione “Lightweight” (€1,287,500); la Ferrari 275 GTB del 1965 di Scaglietti (€2,030,000 EUR); la BMW 507 Roadster Series II del 1958 (€2,030,000); la Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/3 Sports Racer del 1969 (€1,636,250).

Admiring these fantastic cars up close was exciting, we could appreciate the individual details and the perfect state of conservation of these cars. This auction gave the incredible opportunity to buy two original Formula One cars belonging to the private collection of the world champion Nigel Mansell. The iconic 1991 Williams FW14 “Senna Taxi” was the undisputed star and beaten for €4,055,000 after a heated bidding battle; the Nigel Mansell’s 1989 Ferrari 640 reached the price of € 3,605,000. Among the very fantastic road supercars: the splendid 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS / 4 Daytona Spider by Scaglietti, Yellow Fly over with combination in Vaumol Black Leather, sold for € 2,592,500. Present a very special 1971 Lamborghini Miura SV enriched by an original “experimental” and expertly restored engine, sold for € 2,480,000; a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight, one of only 200 units produced in 1973 in a “Lightweight” configuration (€1,287,500); the 1965 Scaglietti’s Ferrari 275 GTB (€2,030,000 EUR); the 1958 BMW 507 Roadster Series II (€2,030,000); the 1969 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/3 Sports Racer (€1,636,250).
