RFK Human Rights Italia 2019

L’amore per il prossimo, la solidarietà e il desiderio di contribuire a un mondo migliore sono i valori che dal 1968 guidano le iniziative del Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Nella prestigiosa cornice dello spazio IBM si è tenuto l’annuale pranzo di gala del Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italia. Un evento esclusivo durante il quale una platea di rappresentanti del mondo dell’imprenditoria, dell’arte e della cultura hanno potuto conoscere i progetti che l’organizzazione sta portando avanti. Kerry Kennedy ci ha illustrato in particolare i temi dell’istruzione nelle scuole e dell’accoglienza dei rifugiati e richiedenti asilo.

Nel corso della serata si è svolta l’asta “Stars & Stripes”, curata da Christie’s, che ha permesso ai presenti di contribuire a sostenere le attività in favore dei diritti umani. Cristiano De Lorenzo, Managing Director Christie’s Italia,  ha battuto pezzi molto considerevoli, tra i quali: una magnum di Gorgogna 2013 firmata da Andrea Bocelli (presente la moglie Veronica Bocelli); alcune fotografie del celebre Harry Benson; una giornata a bordo di un Riva Rivale in Costa Azzurra (presente la signora Lia Riva); una Vespa Elettrica L1; il casco  F1 firmato da Kimi Raikkonen; una giornata di allenamento con Vittorio Brumotti.

I premi 2019 della Fondazione RFK Human Rights (realizzati da No Curves) sono stati assegnati a: Carlo Messina Ceo di Intesa Sanpaolo, Letizia Moratti, Ferruccio de Bortoli per Vidas, Rosella Santoro, Direttore Casa Circondariale Rebibbia, Fondazione Bocelli e Marina Militare. E’ stato conferito un premio alla carriera a Marialina Marcucci, Presidente della Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italia. A presentare la serata Neri Marcorè.

All’arrivo gli ospiti sono stati accolti con gustosi stuzzichini e con le bollicine di Ferrari Trento. Il pranzo di Gala è stato curato dagli chef Alessandro Negrini & Fabio Pisani del ristorante Voce (Aimo e Nadia). Hanno servito risotto Gran Riserva Carnaroli con fiori di zucca, zafferano sardo e burrata di bufala campana; dentice del Mar Ligure con scarola e cicala di mare, su passata di fagiolini di Sorana; morbido al caffè, cardamomo e nocciola piemontese.

Gli ospiti d’onore hanno ricevuto uno splendido e profumato regalo, omaggiato dall’esclusiva Acqua dell’Elba che ha poi riservato un dono per tutti gli invitati.

The annual gala lunch of The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italy was held in the prestigious IBM space. An exclusive event during which an audience of representatives from the world of entrepreneurship, art and culture were able to learn about the projects that the organization is carrying out. Kerry Kennedy explained in particular the issues of education in schools and the welcome of refugees and asylum petitioners. During the evening there was the “Stars & Stripes” auction, curated by Christie’s, which allowed to help the human rights activities. There were very considerable pieces, among them: a magnum of Gorgogna 2013 signed by Andrea Bocelli (present his wife Veronica Bocelli); some photographs of the famous Harry Benson; a day aboard Riva Rivale  on the French Riviera (present Mrs Lia Riva); an L1 Electric Vespa; the F1 helmet signed by Kimi Raikkonen; a training day with Vittorio Brumotti. The auctioneer was Cristiano De Lorenzo, Managing Director Christie’s Italy. The 2019 awards of the RFK Human Rights Foundation (made by No Curves) were awarded to: Carlo Messina (CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo), Letizia Moratti, Ferruccio de Bortoli (Vidas), Rosella Santoro (Director Of The House Circular Rebibbia), Bocelli Foundation and Italian Navy. Marialina Marcucci, President of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italy, received a special award. On arrival guests were greeted with tasty appetizers and with Ferrari Trento bubbles. The Gala’s lunch was curated by chefs Alessandro Negrini & Fabio Pisani of the restaurant Voce (Aimo and Nadia). They served a Charnaroli’s Gran Reserve risotto with pumpkin flowers, Sardinian saffron and buffalo burrata; a Ligurian Sea snapper with scarola and sea cicada on Sorana green beans; a soft coffee with cardamom and Piedmont hazelnut. The guests of honor received a beautiful and fragrant gift, honored by the exclusive Acqua dell’Elba which reserved a gift for all the guests too.
