Alda Merini

The typically Italian way of life recalls the elegant, lively and glamorous atmospheres of the “dolce vita”. We choose a place that has always been, especially for the Milanese people, an exclusive destination with a slightly retro charm, Santa Margherita Ligure; now we think to come on board one of the vintage Riva motorboats, symbols of Italian Style in the world, and to sip a prestigious and refined La Scolca wine, the magic is accomplished: we find ourselves living a contemporary lifestyle experience with a nostalgic touch because we have to thank our history if we are here now. Last weekend, in Santa Margherita, there was the “Tribute to Carlo Riva”, thanks to the Riva Society Tigullio Association. For the occasion it was possible to admire some Aquarama, there was the parade of the motorboats of “Riva in the cinema”, the sky in front of the Grand Hotel Miramare was illuminated by beautiful fireworks, a tasty dinner took place in the new prestigious Vittorio restaurant in Portofino, some events took place in the North East Lain and finally there was a beautiful dancing evening at Villa Durazzo in S. Margherita Ligure. “I have to get rid of time and live the present because there is no other time than this wonderful moment.” Alda Merini
