Prenatalizia Sacro Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio

Lo scambio di auguri è sempre un momento festoso, nel quale si ha l’occasione di riunirsi. La delegazione di Lombardia del Sacro Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio ha organizzato una Santa Messa nella Chiesa di San Giorgio al Palazzo, con la quale l’Ordine ha un particolare legame. I primi cenni storici di questa risalgono al 751 quando il vescovo Natale fondò l’edificio sacro intitolandolo a San Giorgio, si dice che qui nel 1164 furono nascoste le preziose reliquie dei Re Magi, portate qui da Sant’Eustorgio per sottrarle al Barbarossa; nel corso dei secoli conobbe distruzioni e ricostruzioni. Al termine della messa, dame, cavalieri, ecclesiastici e amici si sono ritrovati nella prestigiosa sede della Società del Giardino per il consueto Pranzo Serale di beneficienza. E’ sempre un piacere ed un onore partecipare a questi eventi durante i quali ci si accorge di quante persone dal cuore nobile, gentile, altruista e generoso ci siano e gli Ordini Cavallereschi da secoli vengono tenuti in vita proprio da persone di questa levatura morale. Alla serata erano presenti il Cavaliere Grande Ufficiale di Giustizia, Giuseppe Rizzani, S.A.I.R. l’Arciduca Martino d’Austria Este, l’ex Sindaco di Milano, Gabriele Albertini, e Lorenzo Fiori, presidente della Società del Giardino.

The moment of greetings is always a festive moment, in which we have the opportunity to meet friends. The delegation of Lombardy of the Sacred Constantinian Order of St. George organized a Holy Mass in the Church of St. George at the Palace, with which the Order has a special bond. The first historical hints of this church date back to 751 when Bishop Natale founded the sacred building and dedicated it to San Giorgio, here in 1164 the precious relics of the Magi were hidden, brought here from Sant’Eustorgio to subtract them from Barbarossa; over the centuries it experienced destruction and reconstruction. At the end of the mass, ladies, knights, ecclesiastics and friends went to the prestigious Garden Society Palace for the usual charity Evening Lunch. It is always a pleasure and an honor to participate in these events during which we realize how many people with a noble, kind, altruistic and generous heart there are and the Chivalric Orders have been kept alive for centuries by people of this moral stature. The evening was attended by the Knight Grand Officer of Justice, Giuseppe Rizzani, H.I.R.H. Archduke Martino d’Austria Este, the ex Mayor of Milan, Gabriele Albertini, and Lorenzo Fiori, president of the Garden Society.
