Motor Valley Fest – “THE ART OF INNOVATION”

Il weekend appena trascorso ha visto accendersi i riflettori nella “terra dei motori”, la Motor Valley si è vestita festa per accogliere i numerosissimi visitatori accorsi per vedere novità e icone del mondo automobilistico. Con il tradizionale taglio del nastro nel Cortile d‘Onore dell’Accademia Militare è stato dato il via alla quarta edizione del Motor Valley Fest, il grande festival a cielo aperto nella Terra dei Motori.

Un appuntamento ormai irrinunciabile per esperti, top manager, imprenditori e rappresentanti del mondo delle istituzioni. Grande spazio ha avuto la visione del futuro che ingloba temi come l’elettrico e nuove tecnologie, la guida assistita, lo sviluppo della sicurezza, eCommerce e Omnichannell, i nuovi sistemi di raccolta e fruizione dati. Tra i presenti citiamo alcuni dei nomi prestigiosi: Claudio Domenicali, Amministratore Delegato Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., Enrico Galliera Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Ferrari S.p.A., Horacio Pagani, Fondatore & Chief Designer Pagani Automobili, Francesco Tonon, Maserati Head of Global Product Planning & Product Marketing e Stephan Winkelmann, Presidente and CEO Automobili Lamborghini.

Un’occasione per fare un viaggio che attraversando storiche piazze, passando accanto a palazzi patrizi e splendide chiese e visitando prestigiosi musei ci fa gode ancora più della bellezza dei motori presenti. Nel piazzale davanti alla Casa Natale del mitico Enzo a Modena è stata allestita una mostra dedicata alle classiche del Cavallino, “Ferrari Forever”. Maserati ha proposto un tour alla scoperta del suo stabilimento in via Ciro Menotti, dedicato alla produzione della Spyder Maserati MC20 Cielo. A Palazzo dei Musei di Modena è stato possibile visitar la mostra “Formula Modena: Ferrari e Maserati anni ’50 e ’60”, in esposizione le monoposto Ferrari 500 F.2 (1952), Ferrari 246 F.1 (1960), Ferrari 156 F.1 (1963), Maserati 250 F1 1954, Maserati 250 F.1 1957 e Maserati 420M Eldorado Formula Indianapolis. La mostra “Punti Incrociati: moda, motori e design” ha esplorato le connessioni nel design tra maglieria e motori.

Le parate hanno permesso di ammirare le vetture in movimento, tra queste Ferrari, Lancia, Lotus, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Maserati, Dallara e De Tomaso, Fiat 500, oltre alle moto Bimota, Ducati e Morini. Mentre il Concours d’Elégance Trofeo Salvarola Terme, ha visto la partecipazione di modelli ricchi di storia e charme, tra queste, dalla collezione Lopresto, una Lancia Astura Cabriolet del 1934 carrozzata dagli Stabilimenti Farina, appartenuta al Conte giornalista e pilota Giovanni Lurani Cernuschi, che ha vinto il best in show come auto più bella del concorso; la Lancia Aurelia B51 (ne furono costruiti solo 99 esemplari); tre Lancia Lambda degli anni ’20, tre Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione, una Ferrari Mondial 500 Barchetta del 1954 della Collezione Righini, una velocissima Stanguellini 750 Barchetta Sport Internazionale del 1953 e una fiammante Ferrari contemporanea SF90 Spider presentata da Ferrari SpA.

Il giardino di Casa Maria Luigia dello chef pluristellato Massimo e di Lara Bottura ha ospitato 25 Ferrari di Cavallino Classic Modena, il più importante concorso di eleganza dedicato alle Ferrari d’epoca, ideato da Canossa Events. Tra loro, la 250 Interim del 1959, una nutrita serie di Ferrari Berlinetta da competizione, come le F360 Challenge del 1999, F430 GT del 2007 e F430 GT3 del 2008, la rarissima 550 Maranello WSR “World Speed Record”, una delle sole 33 prodotte per celebrare il record del mondo di velocità.

Bellezza, condivisione ed emozioni per un appuntamento che ogni hanno è in grado di rinnovarsi e di crescere.

The last saw the spotlight turn on in the “land of engines”, the Motor Valley dressed up to welcome the many visitors who came to see news and icons of the automotive world. The fourth edition of the Motor Valley Fest was kicked off with the traditional ribbon cutting in the Courtyard of Honor of the Military Academy,  the great open-air festival in the Land of Motors. An indispensable appointment for experts, top managers, entrepreneurs and representatives of the world of institutions. The focus was the vision of the future with some important topics such as electric and new technologies, assisted driving, the development of safety, eCommerce and Omnichannell, the new data collection and their use. There were prestigious names, among those: Claudio Domenicali, CEO Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., Enrico Galliera Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Ferrari S.p.A., Horacio Pagani, Founder & Chief Designer Pagani Automobili, Francesco Tonon, Maserati Head of Global Product Planning & Product Marketing and Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO Automobili Lamborghini. An opportunity to take a journey through historic squares, passing by patrician palaces and splendid churches and visiting prestigious museums enjoying even more the beauty of the cars present. In the square in front of the birthplace of the legendary Enzo in Modena was set up an exhibition dedicated to the classics of Ferrari, “Ferrari Forever”. Maserati has proposed a tour to discover the production of the Maserati MC20 Cielo Spyder. At Palazzo dei Musei in Modena it was possible to visit the exhibition “Formula Modena: Ferrari and Maserati of the 50s and 60s”, there were Ferrari 500 F.2 (1952), Ferrari 246 F.1 (1960), Ferrari 156 F.1 (1963), Maserati 250 F1 1954, Maserati 250 F.1 1957 and Maserati 420M Eldorado Formula Indianapolis. The exhibition “Crossed Points: Fashion, Motors and Design” explored the connections in design between knitwear and engines. The parades allowed to admire Ferrari, Lancia, Lotus, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Maserati, Dallara and De Tomaso, Fiat 500, as well as Bimota, Ducati and Morini motorcycles. While the Concours d’Elégance Trofeo Salvarola Terme, saw the participation of models rich in history and charm, among these, from the Lopresto collection, a 1934 Lancia Astura Cabriolet bodied by the Stabilimenti Farina, belonged to the Count journalist and pilot Giovanni Lurani Cernuschi, it won the Best in Show; the Lancia Aurelia B51 (only 99 were built); three Lancia Lambda of the ’20s, three Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione, a 1954 Ferrari Mondial 500 Barchetta a piece of the Righini Collection, a very fast 1953 Stanguellini 750 Barchetta Sport Internazionale and a flamboyant contemporary Ferrari SF90 Spider presented by Ferrari SpA. The garden of Casa Maria Luigia of the multi-starred chef Massimo and Lara Bottura hosted 25 Ferraris of Cavallino Classic Modena, the most important concours d’elegance dedicated to vintage Ferraris, conceived by Canossa Events. Among them, the 1959 250 Interim, a large series of Ferrari Berlinetta racing cars, such as the 1999 F360 Challenge, the 2007 F430 GT and the 2008 F430 GT3, the very rare 550 Maranello WSR “World Speed Record”, one of only 33 produced to celebrate the world speed record.
