Un brindisi ha annuncia l’inizio della Milano Wine Week. Sotto l’arco della Pace si sono alzati al cielo i calici per celebrare l’avvio dell’ottava edizione della manifestazione che ci terrà compagnia per nove giorni, Appuntamenti, degustazioni, masterclass e talk che uniranno la grande arte del vino alla musica, al design, all’arte e al fine dining. Il taglio del nastro, accompagnato dalle note della Triuggio Marching Band, ha visto la partecipazione di Federico Gordini, ideatore e presidente di Milano Wine Week, insieme ai rappresentanti delle istituzioni e ai partner della manifestazione, con lui Lorenzo Cafissi, Beverage & Home care & Personal Care Director presso Carrefour Italia, e Delfina Boni, Responsabile for Donor CSR and Sustainability Projects della Fondazione Francesca Rava N.P.H. Italia ETS, Charity Partner di Milano Wine Week.

Proprio qui durante la settimana l’Enoteca MWW sarà un hub esperienziale dedicato ai più giovani, un polo di aggregazione per Millennials e Gen Z. 

Il Milan Marriott Hotel di Via Giorgio Washington 66 è l’headquarters dell’evento che fà da cornice a talk, masterclass, degustazioni e ai grand tasting di Wine List Italia, la guida ai migliori vini, italiani e non, selezionati da 100 top sommelier provenienti da tutto il Paese. Il vino rappresenta un patrimonio straordinario che va valorizzato e custodito.

La Guida, edita da MWW Media-Vendemmie, è la prima e unica al mondo a raccontare il mondo del vino attraverso gli occhi, il palato e la penna dei migliori sommelier italiani, con l’obiettivo di dare voce a una categoria fondamentale per il settore. Al suo interno si trovano 1000 etichette tra nazionali e internazionali selezionate da 100 top professionisti della sala italiana.

Proprio nelle sale del Marriottsi è svolto il Walk Around Tasting Wine List Italia, un grand tasting di degustazione che ha permesso di assaggiare proprio i vini scelti dai migliori sommelier italiani. Qui si sono incontrati musica e vino grazie a Ca’ del Bosco che ha creato una suggestiva installazione sonora in collaborazione con Bang & Olufsen. Mentre la sera si è ammantata di glamour in occasione degli “Oscar del vino” ossia gli MWW Awards. i riflettori sono stati puntati sull’eccellenza vinicola legata alla ristorazione, premiando la passione, attenzione al prodotto, valorizzazione dei territori e sensibilità verso i trend emergenti.

La serata è stata presentata dalla giornalista enogastronomica Francesca Romana Barberini assieme al Presidente di MWW Group Federico Gordini. Il premio per la migliore “Carta Vini”, dedicato alle migliori selezioni vinicole dell’alta ristorazione è stato vinto da: CASA PERBELLINI 12 APOSTOLI***,Verona (VR); MUDEC***, Milano (MI); LE CALANDRE*** , Rubano (PD); ULIASSI***, Senigallia (AN); OSTERIA FRANCESCANA*** ,  Modena (MO); ENOTECA PINCHIORRI***, Firenze (FI); per i ristoranti due stelle, tra gli altri: D’O**, Cornaredo (MI); ACQUOLINA**, Roma (RM); per quelli una stella, citiamo: DEL CAMBIO*, Torino (TO); BERTON*, Milano (MI); LE TRABE*,Capaccio (SA). Alla fine un brindisi con le etichette Franciacorta e una cena in piedi curata dagli chef di Slow Food di Como.

A toast heralded the start of Milan Wine Week. Under the Arch of Peace, glasses were raised to celebrate the start of the eighth edition of the event, which will keep us company for nine days, with appointments, tastings, masterclasses and talks that will combine the great art of wine with music, design, art and fine dining. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, accompanied by the notes of the Triuggio Marching Band, was attended by Federico Gordini, creator and president of Milan Wine Week, together with representatives of the institutions and partners of the event, including Lorenzo Cafissi, Beverage & Home Care & Personal Care Director at Carrefour Italia, and Delfina Boni, Head of Donor CSR and Sustainability Projects at Fondazione Francesca Rava N.P.H. Italia ETS, Charity Partner of Milano Wine Week.

Right here during the week, the MWW Wine Shop will be an experiential hub dedicated to younger people, a meeting place for Millennials and Gen Z.

The Milan Marriott Hotel in Via Giorgio Washington 66 is the headquarters of the event, which will host talks, masterclasses, tastings and grand tastings by Wine List Italia, the guide to the best Italian and international wines selected by 100 top sommeliers from across the country. Wine represents an extraordinary heritage that must be valued and preserved.

The Guide, published by MWW Media-Vendemmie, is the first and only one in the world to describe the world of wine through the eyes, palate and pen of the best Italian sommeliers, with the aim of giving a voice to a category that is fundamental to the sector. It contains 1,000 national and international labels selected by 100 top Italian professionals.

The Walk Around Tasting Wine List Italia, a grand tasting event that allowed guests to sample wines chosen by the best Italian sommeliers, took place in the halls of the Marriott. Music and wine came together here thanks to Ca’ del Bosco, which created an evocative sound installation in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen. The evening was cloaked in glamour for the “Wine Oscars”, the MWW Awards. The spotlight was on excellence in wine linked to catering, rewarding passion, attention to the product, promotion of the territories and sensitivity to emerging trends.

The evening was presented by food and wine journalist Francesca Romana Barberini together with MWW Group President Federico Gordini.
