La primissima Bentley Serie T sta per rivivere il suo splendore

Scoperta in un deposito, nel quale era stata dimenticata, tornerà tra poco a risplendere in tutta la sua bellezza la primissima Bentley Serie T. Questa vettura vide la luce il 28 settembre 1965 e fu presentata al Salone dell’automobile di Parigi nello stesso anno, fu la prima costruita con una monoscocca e con motore V8 da 225 CV e 6¼ litri. Il suo restauro richiederà almeno 18 mesi, per la tonalità esterna si è scelto il Shell Grey e per gli interni una pelle in tonalità blu. Una volta completato l’auto entrerà a far parte della Heritage Collection di Bentley, la collezione di vetture stradali che raccontano i 103 anni della storia di Bentley.

Discovered in a warehouse, where it had been forgotten, the first Bentley T Series will soon shine in all its beauty. This car was built on the 28th of September 1965 and was presented at the Paris Motor Show in that year, it was the first built using a monocoque and it had a 225 bhp, 6¼-litre V8 engine. Its restoration will take at least 18 months, it will be finished in Shell Grey on the exterior paint and complemented with a Blue Leather in the interior. Once completed, the car will become part of Bentley’s Heritage Collection, the collection of road-going cars that describe 103 years of Bentley’s history.
