Ibiza e Formentera

Lunghe spiagge bianche, incantevoli calette, mare turchese e feste che durano tutto il giorno e la notte. Ibiza è un’isola magica, ricca di cose da fare e da vedere. Prendersi del tempo per girellare in uno dei coloratissimi e suggestivi mercatini hippy è molto divertente. Pensate che alcuni degli ulivi che si trovano sull’isola pare risalgano a più di duemila anni fa e i loro rami si presentano molto nodosi. Il bianco è per antonomasia il colore di Ibiza, non per le case che sono prevalentemente bianche, ma per i fiori di mandorlo che tingono i campi di bianco per la maggior parte dell’anno. Tra i personaggi famosi che vi hanno messo piede possiamo citare Orson Welles che vi girò alcune scene del film “F di Falso” e Freddy Mercury che con Montserrat Caballé vi girò, nel 1987, il mitico video della canzone “Barcelona”. Andando a Ibiza non si può non fare una gita a Formentera. Sull’isola ci sono piste ciclabili, ma non esistono semafori. Un’isola paradisiaca, scelta dai Pink Floyd per la copertina di un loro album.

Long white beaches, enchanting coves, turquoise sea and parties that last all day and night. Ibiza is a magical island, full of things to do and see. Taking time to wander around in one of the colorful and evocative hippy markets is so nice. Think that some of the olive trees in the island seem to date back more than two thousand years ago and their branches are very gnarled. White is the color of Ibiza, not for the white houses, but for the almond flowers that dye the fields white for most of the year. Among the famous people who have been here we can mention Orson Welles who shot some scenes of the film “F of False” and Freddy Mercury, he with Montserrat Caballé shot here, in 1987, the legendary video of the song “Barcelona”. Going to Ibiza we can not miss a trip to Formentera. There are bike paths on the island, but there are no traffic lights. A paradise island, chosen by Pink Floyd for the cover of one of their album.
