Hotel De La Ville Monza

Una dimora sontuosa, ricca di storia che magicamente ci trasporta in un’atmosfera di raffinata eleganza e savoir faire. Inizialmente in questo luogo nel 1800 sorse un ristorante, trasformato nel 1900 in hotel. Il nome scelto fu Eden Hotel Savoia per omaggiare Casa Savoia che nel 1859 aveva trasformato la Villa Reale nella sua residenza estiva; nel 1958 fu rinominato Hotel de la Ville dalla famiglia Nardi che ancor oggi lo gestisce, mentre la proprietà è della famiglia Fossati della Star.

Grazie alla sua posizione privilegiata e all’eccellenza che lo contraddistingue durante i Gran Premi di F1 viene scelto dai piloti più famosi. Per esempio Kimi Raikonnen aveva l’abitudine di prenotare sempre la suite di lusso ricavata nella dépendance e mangiare solo risotto e luganega. La suite scelta era anche la preferita di Jean Todt così che Michael Schumacher, nonostante la desiderasse, doveva optava per la Junior suite a stile provenzale.

Tra i divi che qui soggiornarono possiamo ricordare: Henry Fonda, Gina Lollobrigida, Roberto Benigni e Vittorio Gassman.

Il ristorante Derby grill ha ottenuto alte valutazioni dalle guide del Gambero Rosso e dell’Espresso e il piatto che meglio rappresenta lo chef Fabio Silva è il raviolo con provola affumicata, pomodorini napoletani e aglio nero.

Initially in this place in 1800 there was a restaurant, transformed in 1900 into a hotel. The name chosen was Eden Hotel Savoia to pay homage to the Savoy House that in 1859 had transformed the Villa Reale into its summer residence; in 1958 it was renamed Hotel de la Ville by the Nardi family who still manages it, while the property is owned by the Fossati family of the Star. Thanks to its privileged position and the excellence it, during the F1 Grand Prix, was chosen by the most famous drivers. For example, Kimi Raikonnen used to always book the luxury suite in the dependance  and eat only risotto and luganega. The suite was chosen also by Jean Todt’s and was the favorite of Michael Schumacher, but he had to opt for the Provencal style Junior Suite. Among the stars who stayed here we can remember: Henry Fonda, Gina Lollobrigida, Roberto Benigni and Vittorio Gassman. The Derby grill restaurant has obtained high ratings from the Gambero Rosso and Espresso guides and the course that best represents the chef Fabio Silva is ravioli with smoked provola, Neapolitan tomatoes and black garlic.
