Bentley Mulliner Pikes Peak Continental GT

Siamo difronte a nuova straordinaria automobile, realizzata in edizione limitata, ne verranno infatti realizzati solamente 15 esemplari. Bentley consegnerà a Settembre la prima Mulliner Pikes Peak Continental GT. Questo modello presenta l’esclusiva verniciatura Radium by Mulliner, una scocca in fibra di carbonio, dischi dei freni di color Acid Green e pneumatici Pirelli P zero in tinta con la vettura. Gli interni sono realizzati in Alcantara con cuciture e accenti a contrasto e dettagli in fibra di carbonio. Sulla plancia vi è la raffigurazione stilizzata del tracciato del Pikes Peak, la corsa in salita più famosa al mondo. E’ proprio qui che l’anno scorso una Continental GT standard è riuscita a salire quasi 5.000 piedi attraverso 156 curve in soli 10 minuti e 18,4 secondi, stabilendo il nuovo record assoluto e il miglior tempo mai fatto registrare da un’auto di produzione.

Una griglia opzionale ‘100’ ci ricorda che l’impressionante successo della Continental GT è stato decretato in occasione del centenario di Bentley. Questa nuova lussuosa vettura presenta il motore a benzina a 12 cilindri più avanzato al mondo nella gamma Bentley W12 a due turbocompressori, accelerando senza sforzo da 0 a 100 km/h in 3,7 secondi (0-60 mph in 3,6 secondi), con una velocità massima di 333 km/h (207 mph).

In September we could see a new extraordinary limited edition car, in fact Bentley will create only 15 models of the Mulliner Pikes Peak Continental GT. This model will have model features exclusive Radium by Mulliner paintwork, carbon fibre body kit, Acid Green brake disc callipers, and Pirelli P Zero Colour Edition Tyres. Detailing on the interior consists of an Alcantara interior complemented by distinctive Radium contrast stitching and accents, carbon fibre fascias and waistrails including a Pikes Peak Overlay on the passenger fascia. Over a third of the vehicles allocated, include the optional mountain decal to match the record holding vehicle. The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the most famous uphill race in the world. Driven by three-time champion, former ‘King of the Mountain’ Rhys Millen, the W12-powered Continental GT climbed almost 5,000 ft through 156 bends in just 10 minutes, 18.4 seconds. An optional ‘100’ grille is a reminder that the Continental GT’s impressive hill climb achievement took place in Bentley’s centenary year. This new model features the world’s most advanced 12-cylinder petrol engine in the twin-turbocharged Bentley W12. This mighty engine effortlessly accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds (0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds), with a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
