Mancano pochi giorni alla prestigiosissima asta di RM Sotheby’s che si terrà a Montecarlo in occasione del Gran Premio Storico. Fervono i preparativi e cresce l’attesa soprattutto per scoprire chi si aggiudicherà la rara e preziosa Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione ‘Tour de France’ del 1957, stimata tra i € 7.000.000,00 e i € 9.000.000,00.

Rivediamo alcune delle auto straordinarie, battute da RM Sotheby’s nelle scorse edizioni internazionali. A Fort Lauderdale (Aprile 2018) il lotto più prezioso è stato quello della 1962 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster del 1962, aggiudicata per  $1.540.000. Mentre la Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing del 1957, ha portando un risultato finale di $1.193.500.
All’asta tenutasi ad Amelia’s Island (Marzo 2018) uno dei segmenti più attesi della serata è stato quello delle Porsche – The 964 Collection e la 911 Carrera RS 3.8 è stata venduta per $1.655.000.
A Monterey (Febbraio 2018) la Porsche 908 Works ‘Short-Tail’ Coupe è stata presentata con un valore tra i $2,300,000 e i $2,800,000 e nello stesso mese a Parigi la Bugatti Chiron del 2017 è stata battuta per € 3.323.750 e la Ferrari 166 MM Spider del 1953, appartenuta, tra gli altri, al padre del batterista dei Pink Floyd, veniva presentata con un valore tra i € 3.700.000 e i € 4.500.000
Mentre in Arizona (Gennaio 2018) si è fatta notare la Shelby 427 Cobra ‘Semi-Competition’ del 1966 che ha raggiunto il valore di $2,947,500. Ritorniamo indietro di qualche mese per ricordare la Aston Martin DBR1 del 1956, battuta a Monterey per $22,550,000 e la Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider Competizione 1959 che a New York a raggiunto i $17,990,000. Infine la Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow del 1933 è stata venduta per $2,310,000 all’asta di Hershey (Ottobre 2017).
