ATS GT

Svelare alcuni dettagli di un’automobile che incarna una bellezza morbida e seducente, la passione forte che scaturisce quando si crede veramente in qualcosa e lo spirito di avventura che ci spinge a raggiungere i nostri obbiettivi. Spesso nel passato sono custoditi tesori che attendono solo che qualcuno li riscopra e ridoni loro l’antico splendore.
Ne sono esempio Daniele Maritan e Emanuele Bomboi, i quali hanno riscoperto, nella storia dell’automobilismo torinese, un marchio, ATS, che hanno voluto riportare alla luce. Nel lontano 1962 nacque dal sogno di alcuni brillanti e talentuosi ingegneri che, dopo aver lavorato in Ferrari e non potendo più proseguire lì la propria carriera, colsero la sfida di creare una nuova casa automobilistica. Costruirono alcune auto che lasciarono il segno: la Formula 1 ATS e la 2500 GT, destinata ad appassionati di altissimo livello (ai tempi costava quasi cinque milioni di lire!). Purtroppo le vicissitudini in gara portarono il brand a chiudere i battenti già nel 1964, ma lasciando un segno indelebile.
Riscoprendone le tracce e volendo soffiare via la polvere del tempo si è ridato alla GT un nuovo splendore, coniugando il passato con il contemporaneo. Una sportiva purosangue dalla bellezza italiana, i cui dettagli sono stati curati con la massima attenzione e in collaborazione con aziende molto prestigiose, tra le quali Foglizzo Leather.

Me l’hanno presentata presso lo showroom di Boutsen Design durante il Monaco Yacht Show e desidero approfondire la conoscenza, voi?

Reveal some details of a car that embodies a soft and seductive beauty, strong passion that comes when weu really believe in something and the spirit of adventure that inspires us to reach our goals. Often in the past are preserved treasures that await someone rediscover them and restore their former glory. Examples of it are Daniel Maritan and Emanuele Bomboi, who have rediscovered, in the history of motoring, a brand, ATS, and wanted to bring it to light. In the 1962 ATS was born from the dream of some brilliant and talented engineers who, after working in Ferrari and could no longer continue to work there, took the challenge to create a new car company. They built some cars that left the sign: the Formula 1 ATS and 2500 GT, aimed at enthusiasts and top notch (at the time was nearly five million lire!). Unfortunately the vicissitudes in the race led the brand to close its doors as early as 1964, but leaving an indelible mark. Discover anew the traces and wanting to blow away the dust of time, Daniele and Emanuele  were given to GT a new shine, combining the past with the contemporary. A sporty thoroughbred with an Italian beauty, the details of which were treated with the greatest attention and in collaboration with prestigious companies, including Foglizzo Leather. It was presented to me at the showroom of Boutsen Design during the Monaco Yacht Show and I wish to deepen its knowledge, what about you?
