Artificial Beauty di Andrea Crespi

Il genio creativo di Andrea Crespi ci regala un viaggio nel labirinto della nuova estetica, tra classico e intelligenza artificiale, tra umano e macchina. La bellezza è qualcosa che si percepisce e che tocca la nostra anima regalandole un’emozione. La bellezza non risiede nella perfezione, ma è un qualcosa che ognuno di noi riconosce al di là della forma nella quale essa si rappresenta. L’artista si interroga su importanti tematiche, tra queste chi è da considerare l’artista in un’epoca nella quale spesso l’AI e le macchine ci aiutano nella realizzazione di un’opera.

Artificial Beauty attraversa i linguaggi visivi contemporanei dando loro un corpo nuovo, sensibile, in costante oscillazione tra memoria e futuro; veneri classiche e corpi sintetici, il corpo umano e quello artificiale, il mondo fisico e quello digitale. 

Artificial Beauty sarà in mostra presso la Fabbrica del Vapore dal 23 ottobre 2025 al 25 gennaio 2026. La curatela è affidata ad Alisia Viola e Sandie Zanini e l’evento fa parte del programma ufficiale Mostre Comune di Milano 2025 con il Patrocinio della Regione Lombardia.

Andrea Crespi’s creative genius gives us a journey into the labyrinth of new aesthetics, between classic and artificial intelligence, between human and machine. Beauty is something that is perceived and that touches our soul, giving it an emotion. Beauty does not reside in perfection, but is something that each of us recognizes beyond the form in which it represents itself. The artist questions important themes, including who the artist should be considered in an era in which AI and machines often help us in the creation of a work.

Artificial Beauty crosses contemporary visual languages giving them a new, sensitive body, in constant oscillation between memory and future; classical veneri and synthetic bodies, the human and artificial bodies, the physical and digital worlds. 

Artificial Beauty will be on display at the Fabbrica del Vapore from 23 October 2025 to 25 January 2026. The curatorship is entrusted to Alisia Viola and Sandie Zanini and the event is part of the official Mostre Comune di Milano 2025 program under the patronage of the Lombardy Region.
