Una giornata d’Agosto al Lago

Il lago di Como è un luogo romanticamente esclusivo, raffinatamente rilassante con un non so che di nostalgico. Ha ispirato poeti e scrittori e sulle sue sponde vi giungono villeggianti da tutto il mondo. Su queste rive vi sono alcune delle dimore più belle, molte private, alcune trasformate in hotel di lusso.

Tra queste meraviglie c’è lo storico Palazzo che ospita il Grand Hotel Tremezzo nel quale si respira tutto il fascino della Belle Époque. Percorrendo la strada panoramica che costeggia il lago vi si giunge facilmente, si lascia l’auto al vetturiere e si prende l’ascensore, Quando le sue porte si dischiudono si aprono davanti a noi due bellissime terrazze panoramiche, ci sediamo ad un tavolino di quella del bar per coccolarci con un marocchino e bearci della vista. Poi facciamo un giro tra gli eleganti saloni Art Nuoveau, i decori floreali, le sete comasche, la grandiosa scalinata e la sala biliardo. Nella parte retrostante l’hotel si apre un lussureggiante giardino ricco di piante e fiori profumati. Qui vi è un’intima piscina a bordo della quale si può gustare una fragrante pizza. Vorrei addentrarmi per i sentieri che conducono al belvedere, ma le temperature di questa calda giornata estiva mi fanno desistere, mi riprometto di tornarci e di andare a fare la conoscenza di Bobo, la mascotte dell’Hotel. Una capatina al T Beach, qui chaise longue e ombrelloni sono posati su una soffice sabbia e vi si può sorseggiare un cocktail rinfrescante cullati dal dolce sciabordio delle onde.

Lake Como is a romantically exclusive place, refinedly relaxing with a nostalgic feeling. It has inspired poets and writers and on its shores come holidaymakers from all over the world. On these shores there are some of the most beautiful residences, many private, some converted into luxury hotels. Among these wonders there is the historic Palace of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo where we can breathe all the charm of the Belle Époque. Along the panoramic road that runs along the lake we can easily come there, leave the car to the driver and take the elevator, when its doors open two beautiful panoramic terraces open in front of us, we sit at a table of the bar to pamper ourselves with a Moroccan coffe and enjoy the view. Then we take a tour of the elegant Art Nuoveau halls, the floral decorations, the Como silks, the great staircase and the billiard room. At the back of the hotel there is a lush garden full of fragrant plants and flowers. Here there is an intimate swimming pool at the edge of which we can enjoy a fragrant pizza. I would like to go through the paths that lead to the viewpoint, but the temperatures of this hot summer day make me desist, I promise to go back and meet Bobo, the mascot of the Hotel. A visit to T Beach, here chaise longues and umbrellas are laid on a soft sand and we can sip a refreshing cocktail lulled by the gentle lapping of the waves.
