In questa un pò anomala Designer’s week vi voglio raccontare di un affascinante incontro con un Gentleman Designer. Lui è lo spagnolo Josè Manuel Ferrero, un uomo dall’eleganza discreta, dalla raffinata creatività e dall’ingegno ambizioso che ha creato un atelier a Valencia, estudi{H}ac, dedicato a quei clienti visionari che desiderano progetti d’interior design dall’eleganza personalizzata, concepiti su misura per loro. Le sue creazioni portano con sé il furore creativo insito nel suo animo mediterraneo e un sentore dello stile inglese, acquisito durante i soggiorni londinesi.

Scopriamo insieme a lui la collezione PLISSÉ disegnata interamente per VICAL DESIGN. L’affascinante e delicata lavorazione dei tessuti plissé ha esercitato un forte fascino sul designer che l’ha voluta riprodurre, con i giusti adattamenti, per la creazione di raffinati pezzi artigianali. Ciascuno di questi nasce combinando legno intagliato e pietra naturale, intrecciando rattan e strutture metalliche quasi invisibili che creano una serie di grafiche e texture naturali e giochi di luci e sfumature.
