In quest’ottica vengono utilizzati prodotti ecologici per la pulizia; si tende ad una massiccia riduzione dell’impiego delle materie plastiche; l’acqua naturale e frizzante viene fornita in bottiglie di vetro riutilizzabili; la linea di cortesia impiega piante e fiori della tenuta; il riscaldamento nelle stanze è garantito da grandi camini che utilizzano legna dei boschi circostanti oltre ai pannelli solari che forniscono energia pulita. Per la sua anima green è membro fondatore di Beyond Green che si pone l’obiettivo di selezionare hotel di lusso con caratteristiche di sostenibilità, protezione e tutela del retaggio culturale del territorio.

Nella riserva naturale di 300 ettari vengono coltivate, in modo naturale, antiche varietà di colture per conservare e tramandare il patrimonio locale, tra le specialità troviamo speciali farine biologiche, usate la preparazione di pane e pasta; cereali prodotti da antiche varietà di semi; uova, ortaggi, frutta, erbe aromatiche, olio d’oliva toscano spremuto a freddo, vino e miele. Questi doni della terra vengono trasformati in ricette preziose per il palato e l’anima.

Borgo Pignano celebra l’arte attraverso la collaborazione filantropica con la Royal Drawing School di Londra, l’associazione patrocinata da Sua Altezza Reale il Principe di Galles, e per questo ospita presso la residenza giovani artisti di talento.

For its green soul Borgo Pignano is the founding member of the Beyond Green, it aims to select luxury hotels with characteristics of sustainability and protection of the cultural heritage of the territory.
