The Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz 2023

Uno scenario suggestivo ha incantato tutti coloro che questo weekend hanno scelto la prestigiosa località di St Moritz per assistere ad un evento straordinario. Un evento in cui lo sport, il glamour e l’esclusività sono stati gli ingredienti principali. I raggi del sole hanno fatto brillare la candida neve e gli spalti erano gremiti di spettatori provenenti da tutto il mondo. Sul lago ghiacciato cavalli e cavalieri si sono sfidanti per vincere e per regalarci uno spettacolo avvincente, i team in campo sono stati: Azerbaijan Land of Fire, Flexjet,  Moritz, World Polo League, Clinique La Prairie e Kusnacht Practice.

Un sole scintillante, la musica coinvolgente del DJ Mr Mike, l’eleganza glamour degli spettatori e calici di champagne Perrier Jouët hanno accolto l’attesissima finale del torneo di snow polo più antico e più importante del mondo che ha visto come vincitore il Team Azerbaijan Land of Fire. Il Trofeo Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, sponsorizzato dalla World Polo League, è stato consegnato da Piero Dillier, Presidente del Consiglio di Amministrazione di Evviva Polo St. Moritz; ciascun giocatore ha ricevuto un orologio Cartier “Tank Française”. I secondi classificati hanno ricevuto ciascuno un buono per un completo da sci di Fusalp di Tamara Baraghin. Mentre Spencer McCarthy ha vinto il Best Playing Patron Award, presentato da Etienne Dalancon del Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, vincendo un soggiorno di cinque notti presso l’esclusivo resort.

La 39a Coppa del Mondo di Snow Polo tornerà il prossimo anno a St. Moritz il 26, 27 e 28 gennaio 2024… Ci vediamo là.

An evocative scenery has enchanted all people who this weekend have chosen the prestigious St Moritz to attend an extraordinary event. An event where sport, glamour and exclusivity were the main ingredients. The sun’s rays made the white snow shine and the stands were packed with spectators from all over the world. On the frozen lake horses and riders challenged each other to win and to give us an exciting show, the teams in the field were: Azerbaijan Land of Fire, Flexjet, Moritz, World Polo League, Clinique La Prairie and Kusnacht Practice. A sparkling sun, the engaging music of DJ Mr Mike, the glamorous elegance of the spectators and glasses of Perrier Jouët champagne welcomed the highly anticipated final of the oldest and most important snow polo tournament in the world and the Team Azerbaijan Land of Fire is the winner. The Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz Trophy, sponsored by the World Polo League, was presented by Piero Dillier, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Evviva Polo St. Moritz; each player received a Cartier “Tank Française” watch. The each payer of the second team received a voucher for a Fusalp ski suit by Tamara Baraghin. While Spencer McCarthy won the Best Playing Patron Award, presented by Etienne Dalancon of the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, winning a five-night stay at the exclusive resort. The 39th Snow Polo World Cup will return next year in St. Moritz on 26, 27 and 28 January 2024… See you there.
