“Serpenti 75 Years of Infinite Tales”

Il fascino ipnotico e ammaliatore del serpente ci conquista durante questo viaggio alla scoperta dell’iconico simbolo di Bulgari. “Serpenti 75 Years of Infinite Tales” è una mostra immersiva che ci permette di ammirare meravigliosi gioielli Heritage e opere d’arte create dagli artisti Quayola, Sougwen Chung, Daniel Rozin, Cate M, Fabrizio “Bixio” Braghieri e Filippo Salerni ispirandosi a questo animale così affasciante, sinuoso e sensuale.
L’uso dei Serpenti inizia a fine anni ‘4o e da gioielli diventano subito oggetti di culto, la loro lavorazione richiedeva circa 200 ore e per questo ne venivano realizzati pochissimi esemplari. Nel 1962 a Roma, nelle pause di lavorazione del film “Cleopatra”, Elizabeth Taylor indossava il suo orologio-bracciale Serpenti che la faceva sentire in connessione con il personaggio della leggendaria Regina del Nilo. Successivamente amata da molte dive come Sophia Loren e Grace Jones, la collezione Serpenti ha subito trasformazioni ed evoluzioni.
La mostra è visitabile fino al 19 Novembre negli spazi del Dazio di Levante a Milano, in contemporanea nella boutique Bulgari di Via del Gesù sono esposti due Cuori Fragili di Bixio, i più grandi che abbia mai realizzato, e presso il Bulgari Hotel di Milano si può ammirare l’installazione Aftermath of a Snake Deconstruction dello scultore Filippo Salerni.
The hypnotic and bewitching charm of the snake conquers us during this journey to discover the iconic symbol of Bulgari. “Serpenti 75 Years of Infinite Tales” is an immersive exhibition that allows us to admire wonderful Heritage jewels and works of art created by the artists Quayola, Sougwen Chung, Daniel Rozin, Cate M, Fabrizio “Bixio” Braghieri and Filippo Salerni inspired by this so fascinating, sinuous and sensual animal. The use of snakes began in the late ‘4o and these jewels immediately became objects of wish, their processing required about 200 hours and for this very few specimens were made. In 1962 in Rome, during the breaks in the film “Cleopatra”, Elizabeth Taylor wore her watch-bracelet Serpenti that made her feel connected with the character of the legendary Queen of the Nile. Later loved by many divas such as Sophia Loren and Grace Jones, the Serpenti collection has undergone transformations and evolutions. The exhibition can be visited until November 19th in the spaces of the Dazio di Levante in Milan, at the same time in the Bulgari boutique in Via del Gesù are exposed two Fragile Hearts of Bixio, the largest I have ever made, and at the Bulgari Hotel in Milan we can admire the installation Aftermath of a Snake Deconstruction by the sculptor Filippo Salerni.
