Ricordi di un ballo magico…

In questa fredda serata dell’ultimo giorno di Novembre la mente mi riporta in un luogo magico, un luogo dove i sogni si trasformano in realtà e nel quale, per una notte, ci sentiamo un pò tutte come Cenerentola. Il Gran Ballo della Venaria Reale ogni anno riesce a compiere questa magia, non solo per le debuttanti, protagoniste insieme ai cadetti della Marina Militare, ma per tutti gli ospiti. La mia prima volta fu nel 2015 e ricordo perfettamente l’emozione provata nel varcare la soglia della chiesa della Reggia, appena entrata ebbi la sensazione di essere in una favola e per gli anni a venire quell’emozione è sempre stata la stessa, eppure sempre diversa. Quest’anno purtroppo il ballo è stato rimandato, così non mi resta che scorrere nella mete le immagini indimenticabili degli anni passati, in attesa di vivere di nuovo questa fiaba l’anno prossimo.

In this cold evening of the last day of November my mind takes me back to a magical place, a place where dreams become true and where, for one night, we could feel like Cinderella. The “Gran Ballo della Venaria Reale” every year renew its magic, not only for the debutantes, protagonists with the cadets of the Italian Navy, but for all the guests. My first time at this event was in 2015 and I remember perfectly the emotion felt crossing the door of the Church near the Palace, as soon as I entered I had the feeling of being in a fairy tale and during the next years that emotion has always been the same, but always different. This year, unfortunately, the event has been postponed, so I just have to remember the unforgettable images of past years, waiting to experience this fairy tale again next year. We are also made of the material whose dreams are made; and in the space and time of a dream is enclosed our short life. (William Shakespeare)
