Radisson Palazzo Nani Venezia

Un signorile palazzo veneziano del Cinquecento, appartenuto all’antica famiglia Nani, è stato trasformato in un hotel lussuoso con maestria da Concreta su progetto dello Studio Marco Piva. Durante il restauro sono stati rinvenuti oggetti e documenti storici, alcuni dei quali, opportunamente trattati, sono stati usati per arricchire l’arredo delle sale e del giardino. Sulla facciata si nota un gioco di archi ed eleganti stemmi in pietra d’Istria.

Negli spazi, ampi e luminosi, si respira un’armoniosa unione tra antico e contemporaneo, e si è voluto concepire le aree comuni come un luoghi di ospitalità aperti alla città e fruibile da parte di coloro che desiderano goderne. Incantevole il giardino ‘segreto’ con sculture, statue, panche, divanetti e due grandi vasche da bagno in pietra. Splendidi gli eleganti affreschi, i marmorini, le muse dipinte negli ovali sopra le porte, i soffitti con Apollo, Venere e Cupido ed Orfeo in Olimpo. La bellezza nasconde fragilità al pavimento in seminato storico recuperato e ripulito, si è affiancato un arredo custom-made.

Questa struttura iconica che riflette il carattere del territorio è entrato a far parte della catena Radisson Collection e sarà inaugurata ufficialmente durante i festeggiamenti per il Carnevale di Venezia.

An elegant Venetian sixteenth century building, that belonged to the ancient Nani family, transformed into a luxurious hotel with mastery by Concreta on a project by Studio Marco Piva. During the work on the site, objects and historical documents were found, some the finds, recovered and appropriately treated, have enriched the furnishings of the rooms and the garden. On the façade there is a game of arches and elegant coats of arms in Istrian stone. In the spaces, large and bright, we can breathe a harmonious union between ancient and contemporary and the hotel was conceived as a place of hospitality open to the city and usable by those who wish to enjoy them. The ‘secret’ garden with sculptures, statues, benches, sofas and two large stone bathtubs is so fantastic. The elegant frescoed spaces, with ‘marmorini’, muses painted in the ovals above the doors of the second floor hall, fresco ceilings with Apollo, Venus and Cupid and Orpheus in Olympus are splendid. Beauty hides fragility so the recovered and cleaned historic ‘seminato’ floor was joined by a custom-made mobile furniture. This iconic structure that reflects the character of the territory has become part of the Radisson Group and will be officially inaugurated during the celebrations for the Carnival of Venice.
