Palm Beach and Middle East Cavallino Classic

La 32a edizione di Palm Beach Cavallino Classic appena conclusasi è stata indimenticabile. Nell’esclusiva cornice del The Breakers di Palm Beach erano presenti ben 120 Ferrari e si è voluto celebrare il  Centenario della 24 Ore di Le Mans con una categoria speciale. Ad inaugurare l’evento con il tradizionale taglio del nastro tricolore erano presenti: Luigi Orlandini, Presidente e Amministratore Delegato di Canossa e di Cavallino, Danielle H. Moore, Sindaco di Palm Beach e Eva Alvino, Vice Console Generale Italiano a Miami. Tra le bellissime vetture si sono potute ammirare: la Ferrari 410 Superamerica del 1956, telaio nr. 0483 SA, la Ferrari 250 MM Berlinetta Pinin Farina del 1953, telaio nr. 0258 MM, la Ferrari 512 M del 1971, telaio nr. 1020, la Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta Touring del 1949, telaio 0008 M. I proprietari di queste straordinarie vetture hanno avuto il piacere di guidarle attraverso alcune delle strade più spettacolari della Florida precorrendo la celebre A1A da Deerfield Beach a Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Cavallino Classic grazie ai fondi raccolti sta proseguendo il suo tradizionale supporto all’American Council of the Blind, alla Dreyfoos School of the Arts di West Palm Beach, i cui studenti hanno cantato l’inno nazionale Americano ad inizio Concorso, alla Piston Foundation e alla Police and Fire Department Foundation di Palm Beach.

Prima di darci l’arrivederci a Modena, previsto per il prossimo 12-14 maggio, vogliamo rivivere insieme la seconda edizione di Cavallino Classic Middle East che ha radunato ad Abu Dhabi, a poche centinaia di metri dall’autodromo, alcune tra le più belle Ferrari d’epoca del Medio Oriente. Tra le vetture più ammirate: la Ferrari 250 GT/L del 1962, di Giacomo Mattioli; la Ferrari 340 America del 1951 della Cogan Collection (USA), la 575 M Maranello del 2004, la 340 America telaio #004/0116 del 1951 e la rarissima SA Aperta del 2011 (#179812), una delle sole 80 prodotte.

The 32nd edition of Palm Beach Cavallino Classic just ended and was unforgettable. 120 Ferraris were present in the exclusive setting of The Breakers in Palm Beach and the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was celebrated with a special category. At the traditional cutting of the tricolor ribbon there were: Luigi Orlandini, President and CEO of Canossa and Cavallino, Danielle H. Moore, Mayor of Palm Beach and Eva Alvino, Italian Vice Consul General in Miami. Among the beautiful cars there were: the 1956 Ferrari 410 Superamerica, chassis no. 0483 SA, the 1953 Ferrari 250 MM Berlinetta Pinin Farina, chassis no. 0258 MM, the 1971 Ferrari 512 M, chassis no. 1020, the 1949 Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta Touring, chassis 0008 M. The owners of these extraordinary cars have had the pleasure of driving them through some of the most spectacular roads in Florida following the famous A1A from Deerfield Beach to Palm Beach.

the Cavallino Classic thanks to the funds raised is continuing its traditional support to the American Council of the Blind, to the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, whose students sang the American national anthem at the start of the competition, to the Piston Foundation and the Palm Beach Police and Fire Department Foundation.

Waiting the Modena event, scheduled for 12-14 May, we want to relive the second edition of Cavallino Classic Middle East, it took place in Abu Dhabi, near the racetrack, and there were some of the most beautiful Classic Ferrari from the Middle East. Among the most admired cars: the 1962 Ferrari 250 GT/L, by Giacomo Mattioli; the 1951 Ferrari 340 America from the Cogan Collection (USA), the 2004 575 M Maranello, the 1951 340 America chassis #004/0116 and the very rare 2011 SA Aperta (#179812), one of only 80 produced.
