Oggi voglio fare con voi un viaggio molto speciale in alcune delle località più glamour del mondo seguendo le orme dell’animale più elegante, il cavallo. Faremo questo viaggio ripercorrendo le tappe di uno dei più prestigiosi eventi equestri, il Longines Global Champions Tour con la serie GCL. L’evento di apertura si è tenuto nella scintillante Doha per poi volare a Miami. Qui un sole splendente ha accolto il pubblico di appassionati e celebrità come Gisele Bündchen, Georgina Bloomberg e Donna Karen. Nella splendida cornice della spiaggia di Miami Beach ha vinto Katrin Eckermann.

La competizione si è spostata a Mexico City, una delle città più emozionanti e dinamiche del mondo. Musica dal vivo, la deliziosa cucina locale, le esclusive esperienze di shopping hanno accompagnato l’evento, trasformandolo in qualcosa di davvero unico. L’adrenalina non ha fatto tempo a diminuire che si è subito pronti per la tappa al Club de Campo Villa di Madrid, raffinata ed energica, con un premio di €500.000.

Il Campionato è passato dalla città spagnola di A Coruña per poi arrivare a St. Tropez che ha ospitato l’emozionante Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show – Longines Global Champions Tour. Questo evento riunisce alcuni dei nomi più celebri del mondo equestre in una cornice ricca di sfarzo, glamour e intrattenimento. Per coloro che desiderano concedersi un’opulenza e un’esclusività senza pari, la GC Lounge offre una straordinaria esperienza VIP. Con il calare della sera presso il St Tropez Ramatuelle si sono tenuti stilosi “after-party” con DJ internazionali ed emozionanti esibizioni dal vivo. A vincere Julien Epaillard con Donatello d’Auge.

Non ci spostiamo molto lontano per raggiungere Cannes, l’affascinante città della Costa Azzurra, qui la convergenza di stelle del cinema e atleti di salto ostacoli crea un’intrigante fusione di mondi e quest’anno la tappa di Cannes festeggia i 40 anni dalla sua prima edizione. A questo punto si viaggia verso la splendida Stoccolma per poi spostarsi nell’incantevole e romantica Parigi, sullo sfondo magnifico della Torre Eiffel. Qui sport, moda e glamour si sono fusi regalando emozioni agli ospiti intervenuti. Ora è il momento del Jumping International de Monte-Carlo. Sul circuito di Port Hercule ci si è battuti per uno dei premi più alti al mondo, 1,5 milioni di euro. Madame Charlotte Casirghi ha consegnato il premio insieme al CEO di Longines Matthias Breschan e al Brand Manager francese Longines Olivier Pacini. Tra i VIP presenti l’ex pilota di F1 Antonio Giovinazzi. La sera per le celebrazioni erano presenti S.A.S. il Principe Alberto II di Monaco, la Principessa Charlene e Charlotte Casiraghi.

Appena terminata questa gara tutti di nuovo in pista, questa volta nel Riesenbeck International; l’attesa per i risultati diventa sempre più spasmodica e l’atmosfera sempre più elettrizzante. I cuori degli spettatori sulle tribune e nell’esclusiva area VIP hanno battuto forte per la vittoria di Jessica Springsteen con Don Juan van de Donkhoeve a Londra. Poi via verso la pittoresca Valkenswaard. Ora non ci resta che attendere la prossima tappa di Roma che si terrà dal 15 al 17 Settembre.

The competition moved to Mexico City, one of the most exciting and dynamic cities in the world. Live music, delicious local cuisine, exclusive shopping experiences accompanied the event, transforming it into something truly unique. The adrenaline did not have time to diminish that we are immediately ready for the stage at the Club de Campo Villa in Madrid, refined and energetic city, with a prize of €500.000. We do not move very far to reach Cannes, the fascinating city of the Côte d’Azur, here the convergence of movie stars and show jumping athletes creates an intriguing fusion of worlds and this year the Cannes stage celebrates 40 years since its first edition. Then we travel to the beautiful Stockholm and after we go to the enchanting and romantic Paris, under the magnificent backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. Here sport, fashion and glamour have merged giving emotions to the guests. Now it’s time for the Jumping International of Monte-Carlo. On the Port Hercule circuit we fought for one of the highest prizes in the world, 1.5 million euros. Madame Charlotte Casirghi presented the award together with Longines CEO Matthias Breschan and French Longines Brand Manager Olivier Pacini. Among the VIPs present the former F1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi. In the evening for the celebrations were present H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Princess Charlene and Charlotte Casiraghi. Just finished this race all back on track, this time in Riesenbeck International; the wait for the results becomes more and more spasmodic and the atmosphere more and more electrifying. The hearts of spectators in the stands and in the exclusive VIP area beat hard for Jessica Springsteen’s victory with Don Juan van de Donkhoeve in London. Then off to picturesque Valkenswaard. Now we just have to wait for the next stop in Rome to be held from 15 to 17 September.
