“Le forme della velocità”

Compiere 60 anni è un traguardo importante. Il Club Milanese Automobili d’Epoca ha scelto di festeggiarlo con una mostra veramente straordinaria, allestita presso il Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnica Leonardo da Vinci. Alcuni degli esemplari che hanno segnato la storia dell’automobilismo e del motociclismo ci accompagnano in un percorso emozionante alla scoperta di come si siano evolute le forme per raggiungere velocità sempre maggiori. I proprietari di questi gioielli hanno prestato con gioia i loro tesori, contribuendo a realizzare una mostra dal forte valore storico, didattico e anche estetico. Dalla piccola pioniera, la Renault Voiturette 3,5 Cv Competition del 1900, fino alla spettacolare Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta del 1950 e alla Osca Maserati del 1957. Questo evento è anche l’occasione per riflettere, siamo in presenza di automobili splendide da vedere, ma pur sempre automobili e quindi sarebbe splendido poter avere più occasioni per vederle correre sulle nostre strade e sentire i ruggiti dei loro motori. Importante pensare all’ambiente, ma su queste vetture si possono percorrere pochi chilometri l’anno e quindi l’inquinamento risulterebbe comunque piccola cosa rispetto al piacere di poterle guidare o, semplicemente, di vederle sfrecciare accanto a noi.

Eberhard, sinonimo d’eccellenza, ha voluto affiancare le sue sofisticate creazioni a questo importante evento, sottolineando ancora una volta lo stretto legame che lega l’alta orologeria alle auto d’epoca.

La mostra si inaugura oggi, sabato 1 dicembre e proseguirà fino al 5 febbraio 2019, data in cui il CMAE compirà ufficialmente gli anni!

The 60 anniversary is an important milestone. The Club Milanese Automobili d’Epoca chose to celebrate it with a truly extraordinary exhibition, held at the National Science and Technology Museum Leonardo da Vinci. Some of the models that have marked the history of motoring and motorcycling accompany us on an exciting journey to discover how evolved the forms to achieve increasingly higher speeds. The owners of these jewels lent joyfully their treasures, helping to create a exhibition has a strong historical, didactic and also aesthetic value. From the small pioneer, the 1900 Renault Voiturette 3.5 Cv Competition to the 1950 Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta and the spectacular 1957 Osca Maserati. This event is also an opportunity to reflect, we these cars are so beautiful to see, but they are still cars and so it would be great to have more opportunities to see them darting in our streets and hear the roar of their engines. Important to think about the environment, but these cars can travel for a few kilometres a year so the pollution would be however small compared to the pleasure of being able to drive them or, simply, to see them darting beside us.

Eberhard, synonymous of excellence, has chosen to associate its sophisticated creations at this important event, highlighting once again the close link between the Haute Horlogerie with classic cars.

The exhibition opens today, Saturday, December 1 and will run until 5 February 2019, when the CMEA will officially the years!
