“Le Cercle Enchanté” al Musée Massena

La magia del circo risiede nella sua capacità di affascinare tutti, grandi e piccini, e di trasportarci in un mondo incantato, popolato da creature straordinarie. I maestosi saloni del Museo Massena hanno accolto l’esclusivo vernissage, organizzato in occasione dell’inaugurazione della mostra “Le Cercle Enchanté”. Attraverso le opere e i documenti della collezione privata del Dott. Alain Frère, avremo la splendida opportunità di esplorare la favolosa storia del circo, fin dalla sua nascita avvenuta nel XVIII° secolo. Pagliacci, trapezisti, funamboli, domatori, giocolieri e cavalieri sono stati ritratti nei loro splendidi costumi da grandi artisti come Francisco de Goya, Toulouse Lautrec, Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Victor Vasarely e Albert Chubac, tutti incantati da questo ipnotico spettacolo.

Il Festival Internazionale di Monte Carlo ha premiato numerose famiglie circensi, tra le quali: Amar, Bouglione, Gruss e Zavatta. Un film documentario ce ne mostra i momenti più belli.

All’inaugurazione erano presenti personalità politiche e del Jet Set, tra queste: la Principessa Stephanie di Monaco che ha conferito al Museo il patrocinio ufficiale; Christian Estrosi, Sindaco di Nizza, presidente della metropoli della Costa Azzurra e vicepresidente della regione Provenza-Alpi-Costa Azzurra; il Dott.re Alain Frère, Sindaco di Tourrette-Levens, vicepresidente della metropoli di Nice Côte d’Azur e responsabile della cultura; Jean Pierre Barbero, Responsabile del Museo Massena; l’Ambasciatore italiano a Monaco, Cristiano Gallo.

Per questa speciale occasione, Ceramiche Sambuco ha realizzato delle preziose scatole smaltate che rappresentano le tende multicolori del circo. In questi scrigni si possono preservare i nostri sogni, i nostri ricordi e i nostri desideri. 10 sono state numerate e donate alle personalità presenti, una di queste è stata consegnata alla Principessa Stephanie di Monaco.

ll Musée Masséna ospiterà la mostra “Le Cercle Enchanté” fino al 3 febbraio 2020. Benvenuti in questo mondo incantato.

The magic of the circus lies in its ability to fascinate everyone, young and old, and to transport us to an enchanted world, populated by extraordinary creatures. The majestic halls of the Massena Museum welcomed the exclusive vernissage, organized for the opening of the exhibition “Le Cercle Enchanté”. Through the works and documents of the Dr. Alain Frère’s private collection, we will have the wonderful opportunity to explore the fabulous history of the circus, since the 18th century. Clowns, trapeze artists, tightrope walkers, tamers, jugers and riders, have been portrayed in their splendid costumes by great artists such as Francisco de Goya, Toulouse Lautrec, Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Victor Vasarely, Albert Chubac, all enchanted by this hypnotic show. The Monte Carlo International Festival has awarded numerous circus families, including: Amar, Bouglione, Gruss and Zavatta. A documentary film shows us the most beautiful moments of them. The inauguration was attended by political figures and the Jet Set, among them: the Princess Stephanie of Monaco who gave the official patronage to the Museum; Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, president of the metropolis of the French Riviera, vice-president of the Provence-Alpes-French coast region; the Dott.re Alain Frère, Mayor of Tourrette-Levens, Vice-President of the metropolis of Nice Cate d’Azur, responsible for culture; Jean Pierre Barbero, Head of the Massena Museum; the Italian Ambassador tin Monaco, Cristiano Gallo. For this special occasion the Ceramiche Sambuco has created precious enamel boxes, representing the multicolored curtains of the circus. In these chests we can preserve our dreams, our memories and our desires. 10 of them have been numbered and donated to the personalities present, one of them has been given to the Princess Stephanie of Monaco. The Musée Masséna will host the exhibition “Le Cercle Enchanté” until the 3rd of February 2020. Welcome to this enchanted world.
