“L’Antica Via del Tè e dei Cavalli” by RICOSTRU

Un viaggio affascinante nel tempo e nello spazio che ci porta a ripercorrere il millenario sentiero chiamato “Via dei Cavalli e del Tè”, la più antica rotta commerciale di terra nella storia cinese. Essa collegava i centri culturali più importanti da Hengduan all’Himalaya ed era percorsa dalle carovane di cavalli, inizialmente per trasportare il tè cinese. Una struggente leggenda narra che due amati si arrampicarono fino all’altitudine più alta del mondo attraversando le antiche strade per più di 10.000 miglia. Questa l’ispirazione della collezione P/E 2024 di RICOSTRU che ritrae l’immagine onirica di un eroe romantico creando un ponte incorporeo tra antico e futuro. I materiali sintetici ecologici a base vegetale e d’acqua creano una texture di tessuto che riproduce le piastrelle screziate dell’antica strada e le lavorazioni in cuoio della Horse Gang cinese mostrano una sinergia tra l’industria moderna e l’eredità del patrimonio immateriale.

It connected the most important cultural centers from Hengduan to the Himalayas and was traveled by caravans of horses, initially to transport Chinese tea. A poignant legend tells that two beloved climbed to the highest altitude in the world crossing the ancient roads for more than 10,000 miles. This is the inspiration of the S/S 2024 RICOSTRU’s collection that portrays the dreamlike image of a romantic hero, creating an incorporeal bridge between ancient and future. Ecological plant- and water-based synthetic materials create a fabric texture that reproduces the mottled tiles of the ancient street, and the leather workmanship of the Chinese Horse Gang shows a synergy between modern industry and the legacy of intangible heritage.
