L’affascinante Hotel De la Ville

Se desiderate concedervi un’esperienza indimenticabile in un luogo elegante e magico nel quale essere abbracciati dalla storia e da un fasto raffinato che ha il sapore del tempo vi consiglio di andare all’Hotel De La Ville a Monza. Qui assaporerete un lusso famigliare che vi farà apprezzare il tempo qui trascorso che sia un pranzo o un soggiorno. Son stata accolta da un caloroso e accogliente benvenuto del Signor Luigi Nardi il quale ha fatto gli onori di casa e mi ha accompagnata alla soperta di questo bellissimo hotel, raccontandomene storia e aneddoti, la sua famiglia lo gestisce da tantissimi anni.

La storia di questo luogo risale al 1800 quando qui sorgeva il ristorante Eden, nel 1900 trasformato nell’Eden Hotel Savoia, un nome che voleva essere un omaggio alla Villa Reale, residenza estiva del re d’Italia, davanti alla quale sorgeva. La famiglia Nardi ne rileva la gestione nel 1958 e da allora continua la sua opera con passione e amore. Oltre alle sontuose camere e suite vi è la possibilità di soggiornare nella splendida Villa, una piccola reggia nella quale trovare anche una deliziosa spa e una sala camino, romantica e dal sapore antico.

Ci godiamo un gustoso pranzo nella veranda del Derby Grill, il cui menù è un omaggio gourmet alla tradizione italiana. Roberto Brioschi, Restaurant Manager, e di Antonio Renzulli, Maître d’Hotel mi hanno accompagnata nella scelta dei piatti. Ho scelto: carciofo in olio di cottura con pomodoro secco e vinaigrette alla nocciola; ravioli al caffè in farcia di topinambur e brodo di manzo ridotto; tatin di mela golden con gelato al fiordilatte e rosmarino e cremoso al cioccolato Domori Sur del Lago, birra artigianale e gelato al miele d’acacia.

Un luogo fuori dal tempo, romantico e avvolgente nel quale trascorrere momenti piacevoli e fiabeschi.

Here you will enjoy a family luxury that will make you appreciate the time spent here whether it is a lunch or a stay. I was greeted by a warm welcome by Mr. Luigi Nardi who did the honors and accompanied me to the visit this beautiful hotel, telling me history and anecdotes, his family has been managing it for many years. The history of this place dates back to 1800 when the Eden restaurant stood here, in 1900 it was transformed into the Eden Hotel Savoia, a name that wanted to be a tribute to the Villa Reale, the summer residence of the King of Italy, in front of which it. The Nardi family took over the management in 1958 and since then continues its work with passion and love. In addition to the sumptuous rooms and suites there is the possibility to stay in the splendid Villa, a small palace in which you can also find a delightful spa and a romantic and with an ancient flavor fireplace room. We enjoy a tasty lunch on the veranda of the Derby Grill, whose menu is a gourmet tribute to Italian tradition. Roberto Brioschi, Restaurant Manager, and Antonio Renzulli, Maître d’Hotel accompanied me in the choice of dishes. I chose: artichoke in cooking oil with dried tomato and hazelnut vinaigrette; coffee ravioli stuffed with Jerusalem artichoke and reduced beef broth; golden apple tatin with fiordilatte and rosemary ice cream and Domori Sur del Lago chocolate cream, craft beer and acacia honey ice cream. A place out of time, romantic and enveloping in which to spend pleasant and fairytale moments.
