La nuova era di John Richmond

Nell’aria c’è già voglia di festa, di party e di rosso, il colore che caratterizza il periodo natalizio ormai alle porte. Per assaporare un pò queste atmosfere e entrare nel mood oggi voglio con voi fare un salto indietro nel tempo e rivivere il party che John Richmond ha organizzato in occasione della fashion week milanese. Maxischermi, proiezioni in loop, dj set internazionale con gli artisti William Djoko e LaLa, live performance di SFERA EBBASTA, ci ha catapultati in un contemporaneo Studio54 di NY, Le Palace di Parigi o il Plastic di Milano. John Richmond sta diventando sempre più internazionale con l’apertura di nuove boutique nel mondo e con il nuovo logo RICHMOND X che debutterà ufficialmente nel 2023.

La nuova collezione, leitmotiv dell’evento, è un inno all’edonismo che attinge ispirazione nel mondo della musica e dell’arte e che emana desiderio di brillare e di distinguersi. Un gioco di contrasti di colori elettrici e forme geometriche che crea una fluidità tra maschile e femminile. Ci sono anche capi “dress to thrill” iper-femminili con un tocco punk e bondage dalle scollature profonde e naturalmente il confortevole bianco e nero.

To savor a bit of these atmospheres and get into the mood today I want to take a step back in time and relive the party that John Richmond organized on the occasion of the Milan fashion week. Maxi-screens, loop projections, international DJ set with the artists William Djoko and LaLa, live performance by SFERA EBBASTA, catapulted us into a contemporary Studio54 in NY, Le Palace in Paris or Plastic in Milan. John Richmond is becoming increasingly international with the opening of new boutiques around the world and with the new RICHMOND X logo that will officially deduct in 2023. The new collection, leitmotif of the event, is a hymn to hedonism that draws inspiration from the world of music and art and that emanates a desire to shine and stand out. A game of contrasts of electric colors and geometric shapes that creates a fluidity between masculine and feminine. There are also hyper-feminine “dress to thrill” dress with a punk touch and bondage with deep necklines and of course the comfortable black and white is always present.
