La nuova edizione della “Caccia alla volpe simulata”

E’ un esempio bellissimo di come l’unione e lo spirito di squadra ci regalano soddisfazioni immense e ci aiutano a conquistare i nostri obbiettivi. I Cavalieri e le Amazzoni devono riuscire a condurre magistralmente il loro cavallo adattandosi alla velocità dei cani dei quali devono seguire la via. Inizialmente tra le due specie c’è un pò di diffidenza, ma poi si trova un equilibrio e un’affinità che scalda l’animo.

Questo evento è anche esempio di come sia importante seguire le regole; essendo in costume, la tradizione impone delle norme molto rigide di abbigliamento da osservare sia durante la caccia che dopo, quando ci si gode un’ottimo pranzo grazie alla straordinaria ospitalità dell’organizzatore, il Notaio Claudio Limontini.

Per i cavalieri è richiesto: cap, bombetta o cilindro, giacca da caccia nera o grigio ferro, cravatta a plastron bianca, gilet giallo o quadrettato beige, pantaloni bianchi, beige o avana, stivali neri e guanti bianchi o gialli; al master, ai field-master e ai soci della società ospitante è consentito montare con giacca rossa, rigorosamente abbinata a pantaloni bianchi e stivali con risvolto giallo o beige e guanti gialli.

Per le amazzoni: cap o bombetta con capelli raccolti dietro la nuca, giacca nera, blu o grigio scuro, cravatta a plastron bianca, gilet da caccia giallo o quadrettato, pantaloni beige o bianchi, stivali neri senza risvolto e guanti bianchi o gialli. Una signora non porta mai l’abito rosso: se è Master o Field-master veste in nero con il cap, ed eventualmente un nastro rosso legato al braccio.

Per il cavallo: la sua bardatura deve essere sobria, funzionale ed essenziale. Testiera tassativamente in cuoio e con capezzina, senza fronzoli e/o frontalino colorato. Il sottosella deve essere sagomato, preferibilmente in lana con colore naturale o comunque di colore bianco. Sono ammesse le normali protezioni, evitando comunque sempre colorazioni vistose.

Il cuore generoso dello Sporting Club Monterosa Novara ha dedicato questa avventura ai meno fortunati, promuovendo una raccolta fondi. Tutti i partecipanti (amazzoni e cavalieri) hanno contribuito all’evento con il diritto di “cap”, devoluto a favore di alcune famiglie indigenti.

On Sunday, the 17th of October, the new edition of the “Fox Hunt, rigorously simulated” took place, an event with ancient traditions that gives us a total immersion in nature. This event gives us the opportunity spend a day to discover the Novara territory and, if we are lucky, we can see some cute animals.  It is a beautiful example of the team spirit. The Horseman and the Amazons must be able to masterfully lead their horse by adapting to the speed of the dogs because they must follow their path. Initially between the horses and dogs there is a bit of distrust, but after there is a balance and an affinity that warms the soul. This event is also an example of how important it is to follow the rules; being in costume, tradition imposes very strict rules of clothing to be observed both during the hunt and after, when all of us enjoy an excellent lunch thanks to the extraordinary hospitality of the organizer, the Notary Claudio Limontini. For the horseman: cap, bowler hat or cylinder, black or iron gray hunting jacket, white plastron tie, yellow vest or beige checkered, white, beige or havana trousers, black boots and white or yellow gloves; the master, field-master and members of the host company are allowed to mount with a red jacket, strictly combined with white trousers and boots with yellow or beige cuffs and yellow gloves. For the Amazons: cap or bowler hat with hair gathered behind the nape of the neck, black, blue or dark gray jacket, white plastron tie, yellow or squared hunting vest, beige or white pants, black boots without cuffs and white or yellow gloves. A lady never wears the red dress: if she is Master or Field-master she dresses in black with the cap, and possibly a red ribbon tied to the arm. For the horse: its harness must be sober, functional and essential. Headboard strictly in leather and with “capezzina”, without frills and / or colored front protection. The saddle must be shaped, preferably in wool with a natural color or in any case white. Normal protections are allowed, always avoiding showy colors. The generous heart of the Sporting Club Monterosa Novara has dedicated this adventure to the less fortunate, promoting a fundraiser. All participants (Amazons and horseman) contributed to the event with the right of “cap”, donated to some poor families.
