Iniziamo la scoperta del Passalacqua

Oggi vi porto con me a visitare il Passalacqua per scoprirne insieme la bellezza e ammirare i dettagli che lo rendono unico. La famiglia De Santis  ha voluto mantenere intatto lo stile e il cuore di questo luogo con un restauro che gli donasse una nuova brillantezza senza stravolgerne l’anima. Così si è iniziata una ricerca accuratissima delle botteghe artigiane italiane con le quali collaborare e i pezzi di antiquariato, le opere d’arte, le stampe e i tappeti da inserire nell’arredamento. I lampadari in vetro soffiato di Murano dello scalone principale riflettono e rifrangono la luce e sono sono stati realizzati dalla storica azienda vetraria Barovier & Toso così come alcuni che troviamo nelle sale, accostati a lampadari in ottone della bottega artigiana fiorentina Il Bronzetto. I pavimenti in terrazzo veneziano sono stati meticolosamente restaurati, così come le tradizionali piastrelle di cotto lombardo e i parquet intarsiati in diverse essenze di legno.

Una meravigliosa e romantica dimora nella quale si assapora il calore di casa, circondati da un lusso raffinato. In questo luogo di magia si può decidere di leggere un libro nel salotto nobiliare o sorseggiare un drink al bar reso ancora più accogliente dal bellissimo camino. Se poi si alza lo sguardo sul soffitto si noterà lo stemma di famiglia con i tre lucci, mantenuti nei portachiavi delle stanze e nel decoro della porta principale che dà sul giardino. Per mangiare si può scegliere a piacere una delle splendide sale, tra queste c’è la mia preferita, la sala delle Dame nella quale le ceramiche, le stampe e gli affreschi sono un inno alla donna. Proprio accanto ad essa si trova una piccola bomboniera, un salottino privato nel quale, per gli animi più romanici, si può pensare di fare una proposta di matrimonio unica e speciale, quasi quasi attendo qui il mio principe azzurro…

Today I would like to visit the Passalacqua with you to discover together its beauty and admire the details that make it unique. The De Santis family wanted to keep intact the style and heart of this place with a restoration that would give it a new brilliance without distorting its soul. Thus began a very careful search for Italian artisan to collaborate and antiques, works of art, prints and carpets to be included in the furniture. The Murano blown glass chandeliers of the main staircase reflect and refract light and were made by the historic glass company Barovier & Toso as well as some others in the rooms, combined with brass chandeliers of the Florentine artisan  Il Bronzetto. The Venetian terrazzo floors have been meticulously restored, as well as the traditional Lombard terracotta tiles and parquet inlaid in different types of wood. A wonderful and romantic residence where enjoy the warmth of home, surrounded by refined luxury. In this place of magic we can decide to read a book in the noble living room or sip a drink at the bar made even more welcoming by the beautiful fireplace. If we look up on we will notice the family coat of arms with the three pikes, kept in the key rings of the rooms and in the decoration of the main door overlooking the garden. To eat we can choose one of the beautiful rooms, among these there is my favorite, the hall of the Ladies in which ceramics, prints and frescoes are a hymn to women. Right next to it there is a small private living room in which the most Romanesque souls can think of making a unique and special marriage proposal, almost i will wait for my prince charming here…
