Il Natale all’Hotel Hotel Splendide Royal

Fin dal 1887 l’Hotel Splendide Royal  si affaccia sulle romantiche rive del Lago Ceresio nel centro dell’esclusiva città di Lugano. Qui un filo sottile unisce passato e futuro per regalarci un’atmosfera tradizionalmente elegante e scintillante e i più moderni comfort. Le sfavillanti sale sono rese ancora più belle dagli splendidi decori natalizi che rendono il tempo trascorso qui  ancora più piacevole.

Questo hotel nacque dalla felice intuizione di Riccardo Fedele senior, discendente di una nobile famiglia di Bellinzona, che acquistò la splendida Villa Merlina, immersa in un grande parco, e la trasformò nell’Hotel Splendide. L’aggettivo “Royal” è stato aggiunto nel 1956 da Riccardo Fedele junior, perché qui vi soggiornavano famiglie reali e personaggi di spicco del mondo politico e culturale, tra questi l’Aga Khan, George Bush senior, François Mitterrand, Lorin Maazel, Luciano Pavarotti, Alberto Sordi e Ray Charles.

Since 1887 the Hotel Splendide Royal overlooks the romantic shores of Lake Ceresio in the center of the exclusive city of Lugano. Here a thin thread unites past and future to give us a traditionally elegant and sparkling atmosphere and the most modern comforts. The glittering halls are made even more beautiful by the beautiful Christmas decorations that make the time spent here even more enjoyable. This hotel was created thanks to the happy intuition of Riccardo Fedele senior, descendant of a noble family of Bellinzona, who bought the splendid Villa Merlina, surrounded by a large park, and transformed it into the Hotel Splendide.
