La mitologia greca da sempre affascina e stuzzica la nostra fantasia. Narrazioni e leggende che ci raccontano le gesta di Dei con poteri straordinari, ma con sembianze, pregi e difetti umani. Ora nell’esclusivo The Bar and Living Room, all’interno dell’hotel 5 stelle lusso The Chedi Andermatt, possiamo compiere un viaggio sensoriale alla scoperta degli Dei dell’antica Grecia assaporando i nuovissimi 22 nuovi cocktail creati dalla Bar Manager Marie Gerber e dal suo team. Questi drink giocano sui contrasti, stimolano il palato e, grazie all’arte della miscelazione, trasformano racconti in una forma liquida.

Questa sera voglio proporti Hermes, messaggero degli Dei, Figlio di Zeus e di Maia, la più bella delle Pleiadi. Era considerato la personificazione del vento con il quale condivideva la leggerezza, la velocità, l’incostanza nei propositi e l’umore scherzoso. Per preparare questo cocktail viene usato dello scotch miscelato affumicato,  del vermouth rosato, della birra e del cordiale, sapori che ricordano i tempi del proibizionismo; fate però attenzione perché il Dio Hermes cercherà di rubare la vostra mattinata conquistandovi con questo delizioso e sorprendente drink. Insieme al drink vi verrà portato al tavolo un messaggio segreto.

Oppure potreste scegliere Ebe, figlia di Zeus e di Era, Dea della giovinezza e e della bellezza e di tutti i piaceri che esse portano seco; nell’Iliade era l’ancella che serviva il nettare agli Dei. Il cocktail a lei ispirato è composto da smoky whisky, liquore alla ciliegia, sciroppo di te e cioccolato amaro; un elisir nel quale passato, presente e futuro si fondono con la promessa dell’eterna giovinezza.
