Grand Hotel Victoria Menaggio, l’inizio di un racconto

Ci sono luoghi nei quali non ci si limita a soggiornare, ma si vive un’esperienza. Appena ho aperto la portiera dell’automobile e ho posato il piede nel giardino ho subito respirato un’aria diversa. Il personale ospitale e molto cortese ci ha accolte offrendoci un caffè in attesa di fare il check in, poi, attraverso i candidi corridoi adornati con stucchi decorativi e preziosi lampadari, veniamo accompagnate nella nostra stanza. Ad attenderci una bottiglia di fresco champagne, che teniamo per dopo, e una bellissima vista sul lago. La stanza è elegante e raffinata e dal display a muro si possono selezionare le modalità luce e tende che preferiamo, io le ho subito provate tutte: welcome, goodmorning, goodnight, nightlight, ovviamente personalizzabili. Nell’ampio ed elegante bagno non manca nulla, ci sono anche due beauty di cortesia con dentro tanti prodotti che non vedo l’ora di provare. Tempo di rinfrescarmi un attimo e scendo per una visita veloce della struttura, così mi faccio un’idea di cosa fare più tardi.

Il Grand Hotel Victoria trae ispirazione da una storia d’amore senza fine che affascina da sempre tutte le generazioni, quella dei Promessi Sposi. Ai suoi protagonisti sono intitolate le due palazzine che lo compongono, il Palazzo, la parte nuova e soprannominato Renzo, e la Villa, il cuore storico dell’Hotel soprannominato Lucia. I due si amalgamano e si completano reciprocamente in un armonioso e romantico abbraccio. Un profumo suadente ci accompagna nella visita alla piscina esterna, al ristornate “Lago”, al Bar “Manzoni” e alla splendida SPA, la più grande del lago di Como, una tentazione irresistibile. Ogni dettaglio è curato in modo da appagare lo sguardo e il servizio è attento ad ogni esigenza, calorosamente rispettoso e mai invasivo in modo da far sentire l’ospite speciale e accolto.

There are places where we don’t just stay, but live an experience. As soon as I opened the car door and enter in the garden, I immediately breathed a different air. The very courteous staff welcomed us by offering us a coffee waiting to check in, then, through the white corridors adorned with decorative stucco and precious chandeliers, we are accompanied to our room. A bottle of fresh champagne awaits us, we ill drink it later, and a beautiful view of the lake. The room is elegant and refined and we can select our prefer mode of the room on the wall display, I immediately tried them all: welcome, goodmorning, goodnight, nightlight, obviously customizable. In the large and elegant bathroom there are all the amenities, there are also two courtesy beauty with many products which I would like to try. We freshen up for a moment and after we have a quick tour of the structure to know what to do later. The Grand Hotel Victoria is inspired by an endless love story that has always fascinated all generations, “The Betrothed”. The two buildings that compose the hotel have the names of its protagonists, the Palace, the new part and nicknamed Renzo, and the Villa, the historic heart of the Hotel nicknamed Lucia. They blend and complement each other in a harmonious and romantic embrace. A persuasive scent accompanies us in the visit of the outdoor swimming pool, the “Lago” restaurant, the “Manzoni” Bar and the splendid SPA, the largest on The Como lake, an irresistible temptation. Every detail is taken care of in order to satisfy the eye and the service is attentive to every need, warmly respectful and never invasive in order to make the guest feel special welcomed.
