E’ proprio in questo luogo che lo chef stellato, Pietro D’Agostino, e la sua compagna sommelier, Morena Benenati, valorizzano la territorialità enogastronomica, le tecniche dell’alta cucina e la naturalità degli ingredienti, esaltando la gamma aromatica delle materie prime. Un ottimo pasto deve essere sempre accompagnato dal buon bere e per questo, insieme al barman siciliano Mattia Cilia, lo Chef ha voluto presentare una nuova drink list. Un sorso di Mediterran IO è come il dolce e avvolgente abbraccio di una donna. Questo liquore profuma di fiori di Zagara, Gelsomino, Rosa, Lavanda e scorza di Limone e il suo gusto è generoso e travolgente, rotondo e morbido, delicato ed elegante. In a beautiful historical home, in the heart of Taornina, the starred chef, Pietro D’Agostino pays homage to the taste and the pleasures of the table experimenting new combinations of flavors. In this place Pietro D’Agostino and his wife, Morena Benenati, sommelier, enhance the food and wine territoriality, the haute cuisine and the naturalness of the ingredients, enhancing the raw materials. A great meal must always be accompanied by good drink and for this reasons the Chef wanted to present a new drink list according with the Sicilian bartender Mattia Cilia. So the guests of the Kistè Restaurant could taste the excellence of the Sicilian territory in a glass. This was the right opportunity to introduce Mediterran IO, the new liqueur created by Pietro d’Agostino with the Sicilian Giardini d’Amore® – Liquors.
