E’ ricominciata la stagione dell’Ippodromo di Milano

La Stagione dell’Ippodromo Snai San Siro di Milano è cominciata sotto i migliori auspici e i weekend scorsi hanno scaldato i cuori degli appassionati con gare emozionanti e attese vittorie. Tra gli eventi l’attesissimo Premio Ambrosiano vinto da SEAN della scuderia Fekonja Kurt, montato dal fantino Luca Maniezzi. Nella stessa giornata si è disputato il Trofeo Hotel Airone Isola d’Elba. Altri due appuntamenti imperdibili sono stati il Premio Emanuele Filiberto e il Premio Certosa che hanno visto la presenza di oltre 2000 spettatori. Il primo è stato vinto WINNING SPIRIT della scuderia Liberty Racing con il fantino Leon Wolf; il secondo da TALENTUOSA della scuderia Cascione Melania, montata dal fantino Salvatore Sulas.

L’ippodromo è un luogo bellissimo immerso del verde nel quale trascorrere piacevoli week end a Milano. Ognuno può trovare la sua dimensione, quella ludica per una giornata in famiglia, quella sportiva se si è appassionati di corse, quella più glamour se si vuole passare un’elegante giornata dal sapore “ascottiano”. Fin dai  primi decenni del Novecento l’Ippodromo di San Siro era frequentato da nobili, industriali, gran dame, ma anche artisti, intellettuali e cittadini comuni, tutti accomunati da un’unica passione, i cavalli. Tra gli illustri personaggi che amavano passare qui il loro tempo libero ci furono Ernest Hemingway, durante la sua convalescenza, e Luchino Visconti, allenatore e vincitore del Gran Premio di Milano. Questo spirito rimane ancor oggi immutato.

The season of the Snai San Siro Hippodrome in Milan began under the best auspices and the past weekends have warmed the hearts of fans with exciting races and expected victories. Among the events the highly anticipated Premio Ambrosiano won by SEAN of the Fekonja Kurt stable, ridden by the jockey Luca Maniezzi. On the same day the Trofeo Hotel Airone Isola d’Elba was held. Two other unmissable events were the Emanuele Filiberto Prize and the Certosa Prize which saw the presence of over 2000 spectators. The first was won by WINNING SPIRIT of Liberty Racing with the jockey Leon Wolf; the second by TALENTED of the Cascione Melania stable, ridden by the jockey Salvatore Sulas. The racecourse is a beautiful place surrounded by greenery in which to spend pleasant weekends in Milan. Everyone can find their own dimension, the playful one for a family day, the sporting one if you are passionate about racing, the most glamorous one if you want to spend an elegant day with an “Ascot” flavor. Since the early decades of the twentieth century, the San Siro Hippodrome was frequented by nobles, industrialists, grand ladies, but also artists, intellectuals and ordinary citizens, all united by a single passion, horses. Among the illustrious personalities who loved to spend their free time here were Ernest Hemingway, during his convalescence, and Luchino Visconti, coach and winner of the Grand Prix of Milan. This spirit remains unchanged today.
