Drinks mitologici

In questo primo weekend di Maggio molti hanno raggiunto le località turistiche per godersi il primo assaggio d’estate. In qualunque meravigliosa località voi siate sicuramente starete sorseggiando un aperitivo o avrete in programma un drink dopo cena. Così voglio solleticare la vostra fantasia con alcune delle mitologiche proposte della drink list dalla Bar Manager Marie Gerber per The Bar and Living Room al The Chedi.

Iniziamo da lui, Zeus, il padre degli Dei dell’Olimpo, dio del cielo e del tuono. Ebbene per rappresentarlo sono stati mixati vodka, liquori di frutti di stagione, sciroppo di frutto della passione, latte d’avena, ginger beer, succo di limone. Una combinazione di frutti tropicali, sapori speziati e dolci note terrose per ricordarci quanto è bello il nostro pianeta.

Se preferite potete sorseggiare, Hypnos, il Dio del Sonno, nel quale troviamo rum e lavanda, liquore alla ciliegia e crystal cola. Scintillante come una piccola stella, ricco di melatonina per fare bei sogni.

Poseidon, il dio del mare, creato con gin, yuzu sake, tonica, riduzione di soya. Perché pensando al mare ci vengono in mente splendidi tramonti, l’odore salmastro e la pelle abbronzata.

Infine Athena, dea della ragione, della arti, della letteratura e della filosofia, del commercio e dell’industria. In questo drink troviamo vino liquoroso, succo di mirtillo, agave, succo di limone e menta. La rappresentazione minimalista del detto “In Vino Veritas”.

On this first weekend of May many have reached the tourist location to enjoy a first taste of summer. In any wonderful location you are , you are sipping an aperitif or you will have an after-dinner drink. So I want to tickle your imagination with some of the mythological drink list proposals from the Bar Manager Marie Gerber of The Bar and Living Room at The Chedi.

Zeus, he is the father of the gods, to represent he in the drink there are: wheat vodka, seasonal sour mix, passionfruit syrup oat milk, ginger beer, lemon juice. A combination of tropical, spicy flavors and earthy sweet notes to remember us the beauty of our planet.

Hypnos, the god of sleep, in his drink there are: white rum infused with lavender, cherry liqueur and crystal cola. A twinkle little star with melatonin to do good dreams. 

Poseidon, the sea god,  there are: yuzu sake, tonic, black tea, soya reduction. When we think of the sea we think of beautiful sunsets, salty smell and brown skin. 

Athena, the goddess of reason, the arts, literature and philosophy, commerce and industry. In this drink we find fortified wine, blueberry juice, salty agave, lemon juice and mint. The minimalist representation of the vision “In Vino Veritas”.
