CSIO Roma – Piazza di Siena 2023

Gli appassionati di equitazione e di glamour sicuramente hanno seguito il bellissimo evento CSIO di Roma Piazza di Siena, svoltosi nella bellissima cornice di Villa Borghese. Molti i trofei disputati che hanno regalato emozioni ai concorrenti e agli spettatori e si è vista la partecipazione di ben sedici amazzoni. Nella giornata di mercoledì 24 maggio 2023, in memoria delle vittime dell’alluvione che ha colpito l’Emilia Romagna, è stata annullata la sfilata ed osservato un minuto di silenzio.

Il Rolex Gran Premio Roma ha tenuto con il fiato sospeso fino all’ultimo ostacolo per poi essere vinto dal tedesco Andre Thieme con DSP Chakaria; l’avvincente Premio n. 9 Sei Barriere Loro Piana ha visto trionfare l’Italia con Emilio Bicocchi con Flinton a pari merito con la Gran Bretagna grazie a John Whitaker con Green Grass. Grande attenzione è stata dedicata anche al Polo, infatti presso il Galoppatoio di Villa Borghese si è conclusa la tappa romana di Italia Polo Challenge, circuito con la formula dell’arena polo (squadre di tre giocatori, campo di dimensioni ridotte). Gara vinta dal team Harpa HPE. L’appassionante Coppa delle Nazioni Intesa Sanpaolo è stata vinta dall’Irlanda.

Hanno fatto molto emozionare le belle e commuoventi parole che Lorenzo De Luca ha dedicato al suo cavallo Halifax che descrive come il migliore cavallo che un cavaliere avesse mai potuto desiderare di montare. Eni, Federazione Italiana Sport Equestri e Scuderia 1918 hanno stipulato un accordo per sviluppare iniziative congiunte per la transizione energetica delle attività equestri.

Aston Martin ha festeggiato il suo primo secolo di vita acquisendo il titolo di “Official Automotive Partner” della manifestazione per due anni. Per il gran finale abbiamo ammirato il Carosello Lancieri di Montebello, quello di San Raffaele e quello del 4° Reggimento Carabinieri.

Horse riding and glamour enthusiasts certainly followed the beautiful “CSIO Roma Piazza di Siena” event, held in the beautiful Villa Borghese. Many trophies were disputed that gave emotions to competitors and spectators and sixteen amazons participated. On Wednesday, 24 May 2023, in memory of the victims of the flood that hit Emilia Romagna, the parade was canceled and a minute of silence was observed. The Harpa HPE team won the race. The exciting Intesa Sanpaolo Nations Cup was won by Ireland. The beautiful and moving words that Lorenzo De Luca dedicated to his horse Halifax were very moving, describing as the best horse a rider could ever wish to ride. Eni, Federazione Italiana Sport Equestri and Scuderia 1918 have signed an agreement to develop joint initiatives for the energy transition of equestrian activities. Aston Martin celebrated its first century by acquiring the title of “Official Automotive Partner” of the event for two years. We admired the Carosello Lancieri di Montebello, that of San Raffaele and that of the 4th Carabinieri Regiment at the end of the event.
