Non ci si riesce, ci si guarda intorno e ogni strada, ogni boulevard, sono in realtà una speciale forma d’arte.” Midnight in Paris

Un film che ho adorato, poetico, ricco di significato e al protagonista come a me piace lo sfarzo del passato, quel non so che che gli oggetti, i palazzi, le opere d’arte ci raccontano e ci trasmettono. Come salutare al meglio un anno che ci lascia e accogliere le emozioni vibranti di un nuovo anno che inizia se non in un luogo che mi abbraccia con le sue atmosfere parigine d’altri tempi e lo sfarzo scintillante del presente?

“You can’t choose whether Paris is more beautiful at night or during the day… You know sometimes I wonder how someone could make a book, a painting, a symphony, or a sculpture that competes with a big city. You can’t do it, you look around and every street, every boulevard, is actually a special art form.” Midnight in Paris

A film that I loved, poetic, rich in meaning and the protagonist as I like the glitz of the past, that I don’t know that objects, palaces, works of art tell and transmit to us. How can we best greet a year that leaves us and welcome the vibrant emotions of a new year that begins if not in a place that embraces me with its old-time Parisian atmosphere and the glittering glitz of the present?
