“Caccia alla Volpe” Ottobre 2019

Uno splendido sole d’ottobre ha illuminato la bellissima giornata della “Caccia alla Volpe”. Un evento sociale che racchiude tutte le tradizioni e il bon-ton di un tempo e che permette di essere in totale sintonia con la natura. La caccia, così come avviene anche in Gran Bretagna, è simulata e questo ci permette di godere appieno della bellezza dell’evento. I cavalieri hanno seguito i dettami del dress code tradizionale: una giacca nera o rossa, un pantalone da equitazione beige, camicia bianca, plastron o cravatta bianca (non tutti), stivali neri, cap o bombetta e guanti bianchi. Le amazzoni invece devono una giacca nera (in alternativa grigio scuro o blu); panciotto da caccia; camicia bianca con plastrom; pantaloni chiari; stivali neri senza risvolto; guanti color cuoio o bianchi.

Dopo un buon caffè allo Sporting Club Monterosa e aver compiuto gli ultimi preparativi è stato dato il via a questo suggestivo appuntamento. I partecipanti sui loro magnifici cavalli hanno attraversato le campagne novaresi seguendo il fiuto dei cani. Una mattinata impegnativa e molto emozionante che si è conclusa con un delizioso pranzo.

Quest’edizione ha visto la partecipazione di un cavaliere d’eccezione, Alex Belli che condivide la passione per i cavalli con la sua fidanzata Delia Duran che lo ha felicemente accompagnato. Negli occhi e nelle parole di questi due ragazzi traspare tutto il loro amore per la natura, gli animali, in particolare i cavalli, e ci mostrano come questi siano ingredienti fondamentali che fanno bene al corpo e allo spirito.

A beautiful October sun has lighted up the beautiful day of the “Fox Hunt”. A social event which holds all the old traditions and bon-ton and allows us to be in total harmony with nature. The paper hunts allows us to fully enjoy the beauty of this event. The horsemen followed the traditional dress code: a black or red jacket, beige riding pants, white shirt, plastron or white tie, black boots, caps or bowler hats and white gloves. The Amazons have worn: a black jacket (alternatively dark gray or blue); hunting waistcoat; white shirt with plastrom; light pants; black boots without lapels; leather color or white gloves. After a good coffee at the Sporting Club Monterosa and having made the last preparations has given the starting signal at this evocative event. Participants on their magnificent horses have crossed the countryside nearside Novara following the dogs. A challenging and very exciting morning that ended with a delicious lunch. This edition saw the participation of an exceptional horseman, Alex Belli, he shares the passion for horses with his girlfriend, Delia Duran. In their eyes and words we could see all their love of nature, animals, especially horses, and they show us how these are fundamental ingredients for a good life.
