Nella conferenza di ieri di Bentley Motors si è parlato soprattutto di attenzione all’ambiente, tema caro alla casa britannica. Bentley ha stilato un programma molto audace e ambizioso, lanciare sul mercato ogni anno un nuovo modello elettrico, sposando l’idea di una mobilità sostenibile di lusso. Inoltre l’infrastruttura di produzione di Crewe sarà rivisitata in chiave di sostenibilità diventando una “Fabbrica dei sogni”, ossia una struttura di produzione digitalizzata, a impatto ambientale zero, flessibile e di alto valore. Un ulteriore step è rappresentato dalla tendenza ad aumentare il numero di pannelli solari, a ridurre progressivamente l’uso del carbonio e le emissioni, a studiare l’utilizzo di biocarburanti e a selezionale i fornitori in bas al rispetto di questi principi. Nel corso dell’anno ci sarà il lancio della Flying Spur hybrid.

In addition, Crewe’s manufacturing infrastructure will be reinvented in terms of sustainability, becoming a “Dream Factory”, a digital, zero environmental impact, flexible and high-value manufacturing facility. A further step is represented by the tendency to increase the number of solar panels, to progressively reduce the use of carbon and emissions, to study the use of biofuels and to select suppliers based on compliance with these principles.
