Bentley Motors meet The Macalllan

E’ stato creato il primo whisky single malt in edizione limitata nato dalla collaborazione tra Bentley Motors e The Macallan. Innovazione, esclusività, tradizione artigianale e attenzione all’ambiente sono alla base di questo nuovo progetto che è segno tangibile del desiderio di un futuro sostenibile. La bottiglia di vetro di The Macallan Horizon è realizzata a mano con una straordinaria rotazione a 180 gradi e sfida le tradizioni adagiandosi in una culla  orizzontale che richiama le linee dell’automobile. I materiali sono tutti ricavati da ricicli: da vecchi alambicchi della distilleria si è ricavato il rame; da materiale di recupero proveniente dalla produzione di Continental GT, Flying Spur e Bentlayga si è ottenuto l’alluminio; il legno proviene da ricicli di entrambi i marchi; la pelle, prodotta in Scozia con la più bassa percentuale di CO2 al mondo è quella usata anche per l’esclusiva gran turismo Mulliner Batur; infine il whisky prodotto appositamente racconterà anch’esso un’affascinante storia di riciclo e sostenibilità.

Un oggetto prezioso e bellissimo nel quale la luce gioca con ila materia. Sarà lanciato nell’estate del 2023. L’invito è di apprezzare il gusto di The Macallan in modo responsabile e non quando ci si mette alla guida. 🙂

The first limited edition single malt whisky was created from the collaboration between Bentley Motors and The Macallan. Innovation, exclusivity, artisan tradition and attention to the environment are the basis of this new project that is a tangible sign of the desire for a sustainable future. The glass bottle of The Macallan Horizon is handmade with an extraordinary 180-degree rotation and challenges traditions by lying in a horizontal cradle that recalls the lines of the car. The materials are all obtained from recycling: copper has been obtained from old small spirit stills of the distillery; the aluminium was recovered from the production of the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga production; the wood comes from recycling of both brands; the leather, produced in Scotland with the lowest CO2 also used in the highly exclusive Bentley Mulliner Batur grand tourer; finally, the extraordinary single malt whisky will also tell a fascinating story of recycling and sustainability. A precious and beautiful object in which light plays with matter. It will be launched in the summer of 2023. Please savour The Macallan responsibly. Do not drink and drive. 🙂
