Ballo della Rosa 2022

Da sempre uno degli eventi più affascinanti, magici e glamour, il Ballo della Rosa si è svolto in tutta la sua magnifica eleganza per regalare emozioni. Quest’anno si sono volute ricreare le sfavillanti atmosfere dei ruggenti anni ’20 e a renderle ancora più speciali il tocco di Christian Louboutin. Al calar della sera, circondati da un tripudio di petali di rosa, vediamo il palco animarsi di scenografie che ci accompagnano in un viaggio tra le luci e i colori di Hollywood e di Parigi e gli artisti ci incantano con le loro performance ammalianti.

Tra loro gli House of Drama portano in scena sogni che richiamano dipinti famosi, scene storiche e dell’immaginario contemporaneo; Charly Voodoo, pianista, compositore, performer e cabarettista; Dita Von Teese; Marawa su pattini a rotelle con tacchi vertiginosi; Corine, fulgida diva della disco music, e Amina ci incantato fino alle prime luci dell’alba.

Ad un certo punto della serata si è tenuta una lotteria molto speciale, il cui ricavato è andato a favore della Fondazione Principessa Grace che dal 1964 sovvenziona non solo iniziative umanitarie in favore dei bambini ma anche progetti culturali per studenti.

La prima edizione del Ballo della Rosa si tenne nel 1954 per inaugurare la stagione dei festeggiamenti nel Principato di Monaco. Nel 1957 la Principessa Grace desiderò che ogni hanno il Ballo fosse associato ad rosa ed un paese e sia lo spettacolo che i decori richiamassero il tema della serata. Dopo la creazione della Fondazione Princesse Grace il Ballo della Rosa divenne un evento di beneficenza e la Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, con la supervisione di S.A.R. la principessa di Hannover, si adopera affinché tutto sia sempre splendido e indimenticabile.

Always the Rose Ball is one of the most fascinating, magical and glamorous events and this year it took place in all its magnificent elegance to gift emotions. This year SBM wanted to recreate the sparkling atmospheres of the roaring 20s and to make them even more special there was the touch of Christian Louboutin. At nightfall, surrounded by a riot of rose petals, we see the stage come alive with sets that accompany us on a journey through the lights and colors of Hollywood and Paris and the artists enchant us with their bewitching performances. Among them the House of Drama bring with a dream show that recall famous paintings, historical scenes and contemporary imagination; Charly Voodoo, pianist, composer, performer and stand-up comedian; Dita Von Teese; Marawa on roller skates with dizzying heels; Corine, brilliant diva of disco music, and Amina enchanted us until the first light of dawn. During the evening there was a very special lottery, the proceeds of which went to the Princess Grace Foundation which since 1964 has been subsidizing not only humanitarian initiatives in favor of children but also cultural projects for students. The first edition of the Rose Ball was held in 1954 to inaugurate the season of celebrations in the Principality of Monaco. In 1957 Princess Grace wished that each year the Ball would be associated with a rose and a country and the show and the decorations had to recal the theme of the evening. After the creation of the Princess Grace Foundation, the Rose Ball became a charity event and the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, under the supervision of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, strives to ensure that everything is always beautiful and unforgettable.
