BAGLIETTO BZERO

Baglietto continua la sua ricerca nell’ambito delle nuove energie sostenibili per arrivare sempre più vicino al traguardo delle zero emissioni. Così quest’anno il cantiere spezzino aggiunge una nuova B al suo ricco tesoro valoriale, quella di Bzero che si aggiunge a: Bold, Boutique, Balance, Borderless, Brave, Background, Brilliant and Beauty.

Il progetto Bzero (B RAISED TO ZERO) è stato presentato davanti alla stampa, alle massime autorità cittadine, militari e agli studenti dell’istituto nautico e universitari del corso in Laurea in Ingegneria Nautica di La Spezia e prevede l’utilizzo dell’idrogeno green quale fonte di energia sulle imbarcazioni superiori ai 50m. Nel 1874 Jules Verne scrisse: “L’acqua sarà un giorno un combustibile. L’idrogeno e l’ossigeno di cui è costituita, utilizzati isolatamente, offriranno una sorgente di calore e di luce inesauribile” Baglietto lo ha fatto diventare realtà. Il Progetto BZERO è un primo importante punto di partenza e una grande sfida per un futuro migliore. 

Si ipotizza che si potrà viaggiare a zero emissioni fino a 75h all’ancora ed una navigazione che può raggiungere le 120 miglia nautiche a 7 nodi. L’utilizzo combinato di idrogeno e batterie  permetterà l’ottenimento di energia disponibile 4 volte superiore. Il team di progettazione e sviluppo è basato in Italia e comprende: ARCO TECHNOLOGIES, BLUENERGY REVOLUTION, ENAPTER, H2BOAT e SIEMENS ENERGY oltre a RINA come ente certificatore in tutte le fasi di progetto. Main partner, anche AutroItalia, Methydor, Precision Fluid Control e Tempco.

Baglietto continues its research in the field of new sustainable energies to get closer to the goal of zero emissions. So this year the La Spezia shipyard adds a new B to its rich treasure of values, that of Bzero which is added to: Bold, Boutique, Balance, Borderless, Brave, Background, Brilliant and Beauty. The Bzero (B RAISED TO ZERO) project was presented to the press, municipal authorities and representatives of the armed forces, the Italian and international press, as well as students of La Spezia’s Nautical School and Bachelor’s Degree course in Pleasure Craft Engineering and provides for the use of green hydrogen as a source of energy on the boats over 50m. In 1874 Jules Verne wrote: “I believe that] water will one day be employed as fuel, that hydrogen and oxygen which constitute it, used singly or together, will furnish an inexhaustible source of heat and light […]” Baglietto made it a reality. The BZERO Project is a first important starting point and a great challenge for a better future. To produce zero emissions up to 75 h at anchor and have a range of up to 20 nautical miles at a speed of 7 knots will be possible. The combination of hydrogen and batteries will result in 4 times more available energy. Together with project leader Baglietto, 6 international partners are taking part in the project, all of them having design and development teams based in Italy: ARCO TECHNOLOGIES, BLUENERGY REVOLUTION, ENAPTER, H2BOAT, and SIEMENS ENERGY, as well as RINA as the certifying body across all project stages. Besides RINA as the main partner, technical sponsors of the event were AutroItalia, Methydor, Precision Fluid Control, and Tempco.
