If we open our eyes and we will find out how much beauty surrounds us. The masterpieces of the artists, the suggestions of nature, the craftsmanship, the magic of the villages, of which our country is so rich, tell us the beauty. When the story becomes transversal, embracing different languages, forms and worlds, something unique and amazing happens. Azimut wanted to create a “trait d’union” between nautical and cinema to transform boats into emotions, entrusting the narration of the new Magellano 25 Metri to Gabriele Muccino. He thus directed the short film “Open your eyes”, a journey through the Italian beauties to stimulate an idea of taste in which the soul can be identified and happiness can be elevated.” Open your eyes” was presented during an exclusive event at Portofino. The evening was presented by Sabrina Donadel, TV presenter and expert art, and there are, of course, Giovanna Vitelli, Vincenzo De Cotiis, Ken Freivokh and a parterre of guests and friends. Magellan 25 Metri, born in collaboration with Vincenzo De Cotiis and Ken Freivokh, is characterized by a style far from fashions and passing trends. Materials and technology meet together by creating a new dialogue. An elaborate artisanal process was created, the result of multiple layers and embellished with a bronze powder, it has given life to surfaces of parchment colour, characterized by a pleasant clouded effect and inclusions that in somehow recall those typical of some precious stones. The “artistic fiberglass” is joined by other materials and types of wood to create a highly appealing play of contrasts: brushed Verde Alpi marble, dark walnut wood, carpet, polished brass, lacquered wood and ribbed wood. If the interior, with its flowing shapes, has strong and distinctive character, the exterior lines are very refined. The most eye-catching element is the the fully-glazed superstructure, created to convey the feeling of a penthouse overlooking the sea. The standout features include the non-slip surfaces on the transom and the retro-style windows in the hull. The amazing Magellan 25 Metri is on display at the world premiere from October 1 to 6 at the Genoa Boat Show. At the boat show some of the most iconic Azimut Yachts will be exhibited: Atlantis 45 and 51; S6 and S7, both with exterior styling by Stefano Righini and interior design by Francesco Guida; S8, exterior lines by Alberto Mancini and interior design by Francesco Guida; Grande 25 Meters, signed by Righini and Achille Salvagni; four models from the Flybridge Collection: 50, 60, 66 and 78; Magellan 53, with exterior styling by Cor D. Rover. While Benetti, will present, among others, Oasis 40M, also present at the event in Portofino. Script: Emiliano Corapi and Gabriele Muccino; Director of Photography: Matteo Cocco; Scenes: Tonino Zera; Music: Andrea Guerra; Art Director: Mario Viscardi; Actors: Francesco Scianna, Mariana Falace; Production: PIANOB.
